It froze on me earlier today when I downloaded the patch but I was able to play after a reboot.
It just froze on me 3 times in a row. Apparently, BW is doing everything they can possibly imagine to make me stop using their products.

When I first downloaded the patch I was able to import my canon Shep. Now the game just keeps freezing at the connecting to EA servers screen. I cleared it from my cache and it works. The downside is that you won't be able to go back on-line because, you have to accept the patch to sign back on to XBox live.

So now I have to play off-line which means no multiplayer. This sucks!

I know, it seems typical of them these days that they're completely ignoring the issue and complaints again.

TBH I think I'm done with BioWare regardless of the outcome of this ME3 debacle - I simply don't trust them to deliver any more.  Sad really, they put out some of my fave game series in the past... emphasis on 'past'.

Finally made it back in online. I disconnected from LIVE, then reconnected. It might help.

I haven't attempted to play ME3 since I originally completed the game, but something is horribly wrong if people are unable to play a game they paid for because of a forced update. Bioware, while I have no intention to pick up and play ME3 in the immediate future, others actually do.

This needs to be addressed ASAP.

Don't DL the patch buddy, even if you just want to boot up the menu.

It does horrible things to your system.

I think its a server-side issue. It has stopped freezing, now it hangs at connecting EA servers for a minute or so, then says the connection failed, takes me to the main menu and then when I hit Y to connect it does so without a problem.

I downloaded the patch and my Xbox kept freezing every time it tried to connect to the EA servers, only had to turn off and try again twice, works fine now.

Still no comment on the face part of the patch not working I see... I would say I'm surprised, but....

Simple way to fix this issue, remove ethernet cable from your xbox, sign in to your profile, boot up the game, when game is booted up and you are in the main menu, reconnect your xbox to the net, connect to xbox live, and manually connect to EA severs, and the go into options, and disable auto sign in to EA servers, worked for me.

So one of my characters look like a straight rapist. I'll try to post pics up later, I wish BioWare suck so much as of lately. And why are we still gettin the silent treatment? Are we getting a patch to fix the patch or no?
