They've acknowledged the problem and have fixed it, albeit there's been a hiccup for us xbox users....who cares whose to blame, especially as we know we will receive it anyway, big deal that it may be one day late.

I think BioWare knows they've screwed up here so hence, the fixes.
Now we wait for our 360 patch.

Fixes that apparently doesn't fix the import you face feature from many PC gamer reports, which is probably the most awaited feature of the patch for many. I've seen people speculate that MS is holding it up since the patch doesn't accomplish it's intended goal.

how is it my fault that bioware/ea reps called me on the phone and told me to check xyz bioware forum for updates on this issue? And then one gets closed and I am eventually redirected to no less than 3 threads for the updates, and it was mainly the community who gave me the info on the new threads? you wouldn't be hearing about here if we thought we shouldn't be talking about it here. I don't need to comment about it in yet another thread! One or two is just fine (eff the third one).
you think they know? the question is how much do they really care, since they knew about the bug on 3/1 at least, but didn't tell us?

LOL, I guess you wouldn't mind buying a new car with no brakes either.

Troll? maybe not but a person seeking attention, yes. If you have no problems, then what exactly are you trying to accomplish in this thread? You can enjoy your game while other haven't not since the launch of the game because of this import you face glitch which should have never been in the game in the first place considering importing you character is such a central component to the franchise.

not at all, if you are satisfied. If that happens to me, I might be mostly satisfied too. I shouldn't have to make any adjustments, but if it only takes a few minutes and I can get close my Shep, I'll consider the issue closed for me. Then I'll just be checking up on various other bugs (again, I found many in MP, others have found many in SP). Only stating things that are blatantly false makes one a troll. I hope it works for as many people as possible, you included.

It did take them a bloody long time to fix this fault, but this patch is also supposed to fix about 10 other things. So it's not just the face import issue they were working on.
Skyrim didn't fix all its faults in the first patch either. In fact, Skyrim was unplayable until only recently.

Fortunately, I bought Skyrim about two months after release. The difference that I heard is that Bethesda was much better at communicating with the fans on that one, don't know if it's true.

That's a safety requirement on all vehicles. ME3 had an ending, just like every car has brakes. Using your illustration: You weren't happy with the stock brakes you were given, so you demand high end racing brakes be put on your car. The dealer refuses to do that. Instead, they offer you a compromise; a discount on after market brakes that you can purchase later. Would you accept, or storm out of the dealership?

A reasonable and friendly reply. A welcome thing on these forums. I still wonder how my post had false info. The patch was released on PC, so it is finished. How is it not the fault of EA or MS for the delay getting it to consoles?

I bought it on day of release for the 360 and had to sufffer PS1 textures and graphics until they finally fixed it a patch a few weeks later. Don't even want to think about the poor PS3 players and their lag issues.
Bethesda did communicate to their fans, but then so has BioWare. The face import topic has been stickied up there since the dawn of time.
So there you have it, Bethesda are just as bad or probably even worse at selling customers a broken game.

That's a safety requirement on all vehicles. It's not even comparable. ME3 had an ending, just like every car has brakes. You don't like brakes, fine.
The dealer says to me: "Here take this car with a pink paint job even though we agreed on a blue one."
Happy now? LOL

Yes, but when you pay 89,90 € for a game where:
1) You can't play the "Grissom Academy" mission (The bug is present only in the Italian version and I'm Italian).
2) Multiplayer has some bugs too (even if they aren't "big")..
3) I get an error trying to import my Shepard.
4) They told me that the patch will be available today, but it won't (it's 11:00 pm for me and I think that everyone will get the patch tomorrow, if Microsoft doesn't refuse it).
5) It took more than one month to relase a patch that....
6) ... doesn't work properly.
7) I'm very linked to the Mass Effect series more than a normal fan (I had some serious health problems but discussing about this is beyond the scope of this topic).
Oh, and I just "wait patienly" for a non working patch.
