Hi there,
I've just replied to someone elses thread about this but feel it's important enough to highlight again.
The sound of speech in cut-scenes is about 0.4 - 0.8 seconds out of sync with the lip animations, the voice coming after the lips animate. This was not the case in Mass Effect 1 or 2.
To some people it doesn't detract at all from the sheer brilliance of the game. To a few, it really grates. And to a minority, it's horrible. Unfortunately I fit into the latter category.
I can appreciate a lot of you might find this trivial, but I'd really love to know if this is an issue that is recognised and being worked on by Bioware.
It would be interesting to know if this applies only to owners of certain sound cards too. I own a Soundblaster Audigy. I could then look at drivers etc.
