What is this? A bug or legitimate complaint? Throw it out the airlock and then find it a few weeks later.

Same for me, and I was just about to make a thread.

I sort of understand the design intention behind it, but feel it was implemented in a poor way. The blurring/unfocusing effect is not good for anyone's eyes/brain.

If it really needs to have some drawback to it (which always makes things more interesting from a mechanic viewpoint), please make the drawback be an in-game mechanic, like the reduced shields already are, and not something that messes with many peoples eyes.

Well you're supposed to take regular breaks anyway ;3.

Srsly though, get your eyes checked.

Srsly number 2: Not able to mess with brightness or anything like that? Just have it permanently on if you sort out a setting for brightness/gamma/stuff like that (not sure about your TV/monitor).

I just played a game with that mode on constantly and... woah. The effect is cool.

I don't have any *big* problems with it myself, the Krogan Rage effect is way worse. But yeah, maybe I'll come back after an hour and see how my eyes are.

I like how the effect makes it a bit difficult to see. Probably to counter the effect that you see enemies through the walls.

As Legion would say, "Overclocking hardware offers short term benefits, at the cost at long-term platform damage"

As a geth, turn it on when you need to, and turn it off when you don't so your eyes dont bleed out. (:

Stopped playing after one game with this ability, hurts like hell. Have the same problem with the krogan rage effect, so guess i'll add geth to the list of races i won't be playing :P

I don't like it. Gonna have to ignore that entire ability since I won't use it(regardless of utility).

Sounds like I should spec out of Hunter Mode if I decide to use Geth. I already get vertigo from too much fast paced ME3 playtime. I found the Adrenalin mode in ME1 wearisome on my eyes and have never tried it much since.

If you want to see what it would look like without all that garbage on the screen, here you go...
http://cloud.steampo...FB303ED9D91C94/

No idea what caused it to happen but it stayed for the entire match.

Yeah i'd recommend avoiding the ability if you get eye pain/strain/nausea or headaches from these kind of effects and filters.

Oh my god it's so bad. Feels like somebody carved a tattoo straight into your eye lens. It's pretty useful especially seeing through cloaked enemies but damn!!

I wonder how simple it would be to modify the game files to keep the effect like that, would be a huge improvement, as long as people don't get banned for modding game files that is..

Just played two matches with it on Hydra and it didn't bother me any. Guess it'll vary from person to person. Super useful ability, though!

Hunter mode freaks me the hell out, the visual distortion effect looks exactly like what happens when the 360's GPU is dying. I've had two 360's go the way of the dinosaur thanks to dead graphics processors, so I tend to walk on eggshells with my slim.

The annoying thing about it is in the thing in the middle.
