I have never understood the point of the visual effects, Krogan rage, adrenaline mode, Hunter mode etc...
Imo, they should have the option to either turn it off or reduce the density.
It can't be good if it causes problems with the players.

other visual modes weren't so annoying, Geth Hunter mod is just bad
I'd appreciate the reduction of number of these figures on-screen

Agree, it's effect is damn eye-killer.

Does it give any other bonus apart from seeing hidden stuff?

Just played a match to try it out, and wow, that hurts. My vision isn't the best already, I'm tired, and the hunter mode just makes everything worse. Who thought this was a good idea (probably the same guy who thought the FOV was fine)?

Yeah in addition to having targets highlighted you get increased movement speed, weapon damage and accuracy. At the cost of reduced shield strength.
Really good ability overall! Except for the visual effect.. im gonna say it.. THIS HURTS ME.

Goodness. Same here. I played a match with the Geth Engineer, and I had to stop. My eyes/head hurt way to much to continue using that ability with its current visual effect.

No problem here at all. And i ****ing love the ability. Not only are you able to see through smoke, it's guddamn easy to spot cloaked phantoms and hunters as well.

I don't mind it myself, kinda makes sense to me since in essense it appears you're overclocking the geth software.

They've definitely gone overboard with overlays and effects. Adrenaline rush, rage, hunter vision, bloody screen... It's all a big pain in the butt. Especially since hunter vision so dramatically narrows your unobstructed view, and is on almost all the time. Please give us a way to turn down or turn off these filters and overlays, bioware. That or just make an effort to drastically reduce their intrusive style.

I don't have a huge issue with the effect, but I do feel that it drops my frame rates more than the other visual effects (AR, Rage) in a heated battle, and that annoys me.

It totally throws off my spatial awareness

Doesn't seem to affect me at all, I'm liking the character.

The hunter mode honestly gave me a headache. The damage bonus was too good to resist with cloak though.

It is awful. But what did you expect, a new ending? LOL

Bioware just needs to change the opacity of it just a bit so we don't get too affected by it, I agree its annoying and gets in the way.

Didn't aquire a Geth character yet but from what I have seen I think a few gamma tweaks should do the job

I'm getting the whole double vision thing too, it's killing my eyes. Plus, I can't tell where to shoot! I'm going to stop using it for now.

Yup, my eyes are watering and aching from just one Bronze match as a Ginfiltrator.
Way to go Bioware, your game is causing me physical pain.

Not gonna lie , im waiting to hear if they tested this vision out, my close friend gets epileptic seizures from watching cops ( the car siren lights are always flashing ) , I'm kinda scared to see if this has an effect on him

Sounds like the double vision isn't intended and is what is hurting your eyes (it isn't in the preview video).
Sadly the complete lack of bug fixes since the ME3 launch means it's unlikely to be changed anytime soon.

While double vision sounds absolutely unbearable, no. Not what I'm referring to. The effect itself, as it was intended, is still pretty hard on my eyes. Unless it was intended to cause eye strain and headaches, I think they done goofed.Thunderfurby wrote...
