Hurts my eyes pretty bad.

I already get headaches from games. Don't need to speed it up.

I dont have a problem with the hunter mode......in fact i kinda like it cause it gets rid of the clutter of everything else that i dont care to see cause it kinda makes me focus more easier.  IMO anyone crying about the hunter mode should try playing with it more often b4 cryign about it to see if they get used to it.

Hunter Mode is absolute murder on my eyes too. Only I didn't really notice until after playing two games, then it came down like a hammer. One other problem is seeing the blue boxes for objectives, they get completely distorted by the effect.

It's very hard on the eyes and obscures my screen if anything - it's hard for me to see the arrow to find targets to kill on objective rounds since the geometric design in hunter mode is a similar color to the arrow and diamond reticle on targets.
I don't remember seeing a "double-vision" on my screen like what was posted...I think the best thing to do is lower the opacity of these geometric shapes.

For those having a hard time with the mode if anything try only looking inbetween the middle triangle only until u get used to it. If you are hunting for enemies just look for somethign glowing in red aim the triangle at them than go back to looking at it only again.

Also another thing that may help is to use zoom....ALOT.....for example i use the geth assault rifle with dmg and scope, since i use my geth engineer build with the weapon dmg build. With this i scope a lot so you do not see those pretty sparklies around your screen. Also if your looking for objectives take note that the nice sparklies are somewhat pinkish purplish redish so for the obj just look for something blue.

How about we trade eyes instead? then i wont get aches and pains from playing a game i enjoy, while you can suffer from having **** eye sight and cry instead while i tell you to deal with it.
Or even better, realise that not everyone is affected by the same things in the same way. /mandatory-nerd-rage

Though more to the point, if peoples eyes are hurting after just 1-2 games while playing with a filter on then surely having an optional-option to disable such effects would be a good thing?

Same here. No problems at all and I keep it on throughout the match.

I've only used it for ten or so minutes so far, can't say it's bothered me at all.

Yeah zooming with a scope does help a lot true be told, good call. Though not so much when using weapons that don't have scopes, such as shotguns xD

Hunter mode gives me headaches. The blur effect should only last a few seconds and then fade out. The symbols I don't mind, but that constant blur is horrible on your eyes.

One way to help it with that shotgun problem my build is a 6/6/0/6/6

Turret is built up for pure shield regen
Hunter Mode acc/ RoF/ DMG
Networked AI built for pure wpn dmg(especially since it ups the dmg on geth wpns)
Advanced Hardware built for shield so i dont die in 1 second

with my geth assault i have dmg/scope
geth shotgun dmg/penetration

basically i use the assault almost 24/7 (scoping so that the hunter mode for those that it does bother wont hurt the eyes) leaving that the only time i need the shotgun is for when im fighting the epic monsters and those are pretty ez to leave ur eyes okay cause the geth shotgun is kinda an auto aim if the mosnters are far enough away.

anyways that is my 2 cents on how to help people, that go the dmg build, to keep their eyes okay on the hunter mode.  Plus this build also literally destroys even against reapers

Really? I thought it was fine. Was expecting the worst when I read this thread, then I unlocked and tried it out. Was just fine. Hard to see the objective sometimes, but otherwise.

Just played a game with it and I don't find it particularly annoying. Spotting objective target boxes is a little tricky but having some downside to it is fine.

Yeah, it's nice if I'm camping from one point, but running with this thing on gave me a headache.

Question:
is a simple 'visual effects' on off button difficult to create? or to add to the game?

After a few problems with it on, it hurts my eyes... but then again I have sensitive eyes, and an eye problem (not vision related) so... I don't really know,

Just to clear things up a bit. The people who are having problems because of 'double vision', what platform are you on?
