Sorry for double post but phone wouldn't let me type in anything besides topic. (PS3) have had issue for two weeks now where I can't join my friends invite during multiplayer and goes to a screen stating "joining game" and freezes. I have been unable to play with my friends for two weeks now and I'm getting annoyed dealing with random groups, please help me Ben, your my only hope.

I have this exact problem with my room mate a couple weeks ago. We tried forever to connect but couldn't. He got so fed up he stopped playing all together. It also happened to me last night and I'm worried!

Game join stall is an issue. Patch has not resolved this problem.

Same thing happens to me. Yesterday I was even able to hear people talk while trying to join but still the game froze there.

Saw you logging in and out last night Kill. Same thing happened to me when I tried to take your invite, it's wierd how random the bug is. I uninstalled ME3 and all the data associated with it last night, and got everything reinstalled and updated before Sony started their maintenance. I hope that works...but I hope BioWare is working on a fix for this (among all the other issues this game has).

Bump. I have this problem sometimes as well. A complete restart of the PS3 or changing the host usually resolves the issue for me. However, it really gets annoying spending 5-10 minutes trying to join a friends match & holding up everyone.

Private Match? I tried it as well, just go Public, it'll work (I think).

Bump for still unresolved issue. I have one friend in particular who's basically my favorite teammate, haven't been able to connect for days. A fix would be nice (restarting does not work) and a patch would be much better.

If it's an EA -side server issue, should we be reporting somewhere else?

Was this ever resolved? I'm also having this issue. No problem at all on the xbox, but a huge headache on PS3.

This happens a lot to me. Do you know if it's only PS3 related? Does this occurs in other platforms?

OK, tonight was my first night without issue since I started on the PS3. I used a combination of the below:

Check out the top link for the fix for the same issue on PC. It seems you need to forward port 3659 on your computer. Do a google search on how to enable port forwarding on your particular brand of router. After you set it up to forward, use the 2nd link to test that the port is actually indeed forwarded.

I have an airport extreme, so if anyone uses one of those, I can walk you through how to set it up if you have anymore questions.
