I got my GE about 3 hours ago so far my build have been:

Geth Turret: 4 Shield Restore; 5 Restore Range; 6 Flamethrower
Hunter Mode: 4 Power Recharge; 5 Power Damage; 6 Speed & Vision
Overload: 4 Chain Overload; 5 Neural Shock, 6 Shield Damage
Networked AI: 4 Damage & Capacity; 5 Power Damage; 6 Weapon Damage
Fitness: 0

Equiped with a Geth Plasma Shotgun I wrecked the poor geths on firebase white....
I just launched the turret were my team mates were camping while I run back and forth between the stairs + camp location killing everything with my GPS.
I do die a bit to often for my liking though :P

I'm almost playing him like a Geth Infiltrator.... maybe because I really want the Geth Infiltrator so bad XD

The problem is that you can pretty much play anything on FB:W if you are farming Geths, even a GPR or Revenant would work. But I certainly would not recommend them on the GE with 0 fitness against cerberus on Condor or Hydra...

I built mine like this and it's working a harm on gold, scoring 100k + every game.
Turret 6: shields, area, restoration rate
Overload 6: chain, shock, 100% extra damage
Hunter mode 5: power recharge, power damage
Networked AI 6: power and capacity, power damage, weapon damage
fitness 3

Great setup and a lot of fun. I'm rolling with the Geth shotgun X and what's so great about it is that I actually do a lot of damage with my weapons in addition to spamming overload all over the place, and the turret is very helpful for the team overall.

Any reason why I should try a falcon over the GPS X? I have a falcon X too, but the GPS just seems to be doing a ton of work for me on the geth characters.

Great guide, very helpful and gave me a good insight on how to build my character.

By the way, I've been looking for the info but couldn't find it anywhere. Does someone know at least roughly what is the healing range for the turret (with and without range upgrade) ? I'm always afraid of putting it too far from me but on the other hand if I keep my turret very close to me all the time on turtling position it won't be attacking any ennemies... Trying to find the perfect balance for both healing and offense capabilities of the turret here.

First rank of the power says 8 meter range every 8 seconds.  The upgrade adds 40% to this, which is another 3.2 meters, or 11.2 meters total.

Thanks for the info, didn't even notice the range was written in the power description because I kept looking at the bars on the bottom...

Anyway after playing a few matches I noticed that the turret can actually fire way further than I previously thought and what seems to matter the most is having a clear line of sight for your turret to fire.

That makes the range upgrade a lot less appealing in my opinion, I'd rather keep my turret close to me whenever I can and still benefit from its shield regen and firepower.

Personally I went with 6/3/6/6/4 while packing a GPS.

looks like a good build but the one i love is 6/6/0/6/6.
turrets full out shield regen, huntermode full out wpn rate/acc/etc, geth platform full out wpn dmg, and of course the shield upgrade.

Combine this with the geth assault rifle and get shotgun and u literally tear any enemy to pieces. For the epic enemies just take out the shotgun and u destroy them, i use the dmg and scope mod on the rifle and dmg and penetration on the shotgun.

This, I ignored Overload and went for +50% Geth damage variant but with full damage turret.

Your overload builds look interesting and I will try one next time round, but I dont like the faster cycling shield skill over the flamer... I can spam the turret with its short cool down to get the same effect AND still have a flammer. Plus the flammer nukes shields fast. Not perhaps as efficient as overload builds but it allows me to solo any mob in the game so Im happy for now.

You destroy your DPS by not taking overload, it's like rolling a Biotic class and cancelling out your ability to trigger Biotic Explosions.

The flamer DPS is to low to be worth trading shield restoration frequency on higher difficulties and rolling weapon DPS on a Tech class gimps your capabilities.

No matter what weapon you are using, a good Engineer spamming Tech combos will outdps and outscore you, especially on gold. You can solo groups of mobs with a proper Gengineer.

If you want to emphasize on guns, roll infiltrator or soldier, really.

Don't get me wrong, I like your guide, and is pretty much the build I'm running. However, I can't look at your name and not think about the recent videos of DRJ and xcal running with you calling you Kellen Heller. I'm going to hell.

EDIT: I can definitely understanding people forgoeing Hunter Mode, though. Especially on bright maps, it is hell. Additionally, it muddles up vision when trying to find objectives. I am color-blind, so maybe you "normals" have a bit better time seeing through it, but the wash-out really f's me sometimes. That being said, amazing ability and I still put points into it and use it.

I play only on gold, when 2 Phantoms come from 3 directions with several atlas spamming rockets from afar...

When I first read this, I thought, "Two Phantoms from 3 places?  So one Phantom can be in two places at once?!  Idk what sort of matches he's playing, but I hope I never get into a pug with him if that happens in his matches!"

But then I quickly I realized that you probably meant that Phantoms were coming in pairs from 3 places at once, i.e., 6 Phantoms coming for you at the same time from three angles.  Actually, that sounds even worse.  You're scarying me.  I'm scared now.

Haha, no, it can get a little annoying for this "normal" as well.  The graphics on the side can obscure things a bit sometimes.

For me, the worst thing is the thin little blue lines that zip across the screen periodically.  I keep thinking Ravagers are sighting me up and I'm about to get hosed, haha.

I honestly don't understand the reasoning behind the flicker in the first place! These are military spec plaforms here. Are they just being bombarded with all the extra information from trying to scan through walls? I suppose that's actually a fairly good reasoning, but the bigger point is, why does it need another setback other than already gimping the hell out of my shields? And even if it DOES need another setback, why make it one that I am fairly certain I could completely negate by modifying stuff on my side? In fact, if this sticks around for too much longer I'll probably be looking into it.

I agree with this, skipping overload is retarded. I played with some guy earlier who had ignored overload and specced his turret for max damage. I played my geth engineer with max overload and shield turret. He kept raving about his ''insane damage output'', however at the end of the game I outscored him by 30-40,000 points, and we were both using the same weapon (GPS).

On another note, any reason why I should pick a falcon over a GPS(got both at X)? GPS on the geth engineer with maxed passives for weapon damage does pretty insane damage, wipes out basic troopers and takes off 1 bar of armor on a prime with each uncharged shot.

One of the reasonings behind that suggestion is, since the gun does aoe damage, it gives you a better chance of applying an ammo power effect to set baddies up for combos.

I have renamed my Turian Sentinel Kellen Heller, don't worry. It will teach me to forget charging up my headset before queueing =D

The reasoning is that since the gun does aoe damage, it gives you a chance of applying an ammo power effect to multiple mobs at once to set them up for combos.

Falcon X with rifle rail, disruptor ammo and power amplifier is a monster. You AoE stagger everything, proc Tech Burst all the time, stun lock phantoms and tear a new one to Pyros. It's both an amazing crowd control and aoe DPS weapon, clearly peerless for me on support classes. I usually top my unknown/unknown/gold matches with 100k+ points using it unless there is a really good Infil/Adept around, then I will keep him/her safe and allow him/her to destroy stuff without having to worry about phantoms and sneaky ravagers.

Some people say that no matter if they are hosting or not, they get the "dud shot" bug with it, but I'm never hosting and very rarely experience it.

The key with this weapon is to control your fire, each shot must count, with an overload between each, and on different targets if possible. If you manage to do so, you can lock a very wide area while your team mops up.

On average, it takes 1 rotation (shoot>overload>tech burst.) + 1 shot to kill a basic mook on gold.
2 rotations for shielded enemies.
3 for Pyros.

Since you are doing full AoE, a cluster of similar enemies will die at the same time than your main target, maybe requiring 1 additionnal shot.

You can also use ricochets to hit otherwise unreachable target, especially with HM etc etc... For instance on condor I can shoot enemies behind a vehicle by shooting between the wheels and ricocheting into their legs, you can also hit a guardian, ignoring his shield, by ricocheting off a wall into his flank or "crotch"...

Did I mention that it's perfectly accurate at all range and trigger ammos all the time ?

This weapon is just awesome.Image IPB

If you're farming Firebase White/Geth/Gold and are using the Shield-repair turret, this is what I like to do.

When you run down the bottom and in the room to wait for the enemy, turn around and go to your left. You should see two big crates. Throw down your turret as close to the wall as possible. The turret can and will heal through the wall and it will stay there until an enemy destroys it. It will never expire. I once threw it down on Wave One and it was there on Wave Eleven.

Yup, if you turret is healing, always "hide" it so you can focus on crowd controlling/DPSing instead of redeploying it. It is true on every map, not only when farming FB:W.

Indeed. I just found it most effective on Firebase White/Geth/Gold. But I do love my little Shield Bot.<3 I just wish the Quarian one was half as good.

Do you base this on Geth Gold farms, or do you actually random map/enemy in Gold?
