Not sure if that's a problem on my end or with the power.

The net does set up tech bursts, but appears to have pretty much no affect against barriers. Are we supposed to melee/shockwave Atlas to death.? I can also affirm the Batarian soldier was more fun for me. The "wrist rocket" was quite satisfying on Silver.

Has anyone done Solo testing yet to see if this is indeed working properly?

Maybe it's the same bug as the missing falcon/harpoon/etc ammo? Have you tried being host?Illcadia wrote...
Haven't gotten the Batarian sentinel, but I feel your pain. I've been running the Batarian Soldier, which is decently solid, except for the fact that the impact spike thing doesn't seem to do any damage. Ever. At all. I've got it maxed for damage out, and even point blank against an enemy with one bar of health, no armor, and no shields, it does.... nothing.
Not sure if that's a problem on my end or with the power.

I've found that Submission Net nearly never actually hits enemies in the Golds I've been running with my group. The animation will hit, no damage will be done(instant or DoT), and the enemy wont get incapacitated(no matter what bar they are on:Armor, Shield,Health, barrier).
Has anyone done Solo testing yet to see if this is indeed working properly?
It is working. Enemies can dodge it and many elties are unaffected.

Batarian's are the trolls of the ME universe. With this in mind they ought to have friendly fire enabled so that I can throw submission net on my teammates and sell them into slavery.

That's not that bad. Neither can Turians, and they're awesome.
looking forward to getting home and hoping I get some new stuff; especially now the Batarian Sentinel, because I like trying to make good Gold builds on characters write off.
Gonna be a marthon night!

Net rarely works on anything with shields. End of story and why the Batarian Sentinel sucks. The Soldier on the other hand is not bad.
It works on any Cerberus enemy or Marauders with sheids. Just doesn't work on Geth with makes sense since it's supposed to be like a taser.
It works every time I use it against shields, however it doesn't work on anything with armor (just like Stasis). It's an awesome power, although the projectile moves a little slow.
The only problem I have withthe Batarian Sentinel is that he suffers from cooldown issues. The melee abilities are phenomenal, but the weapon bonuses are decreased weight for Shoguns and Sniper...Rifles?? (WTF?).

1238 shields and health when maxed. Just got one on my first spectre pack.

Just did a gold as one and rarely did the net work on Phantoms or Engineers. When I say rarely, I mean like 1 or 2/10. Just didn't work and it's maxed.
I recently came first on a gold by a significant margin with a Batarian Sentinel. I went the full CC/melee build, specced for as much cooldown reduction as the blade armor tree would give, followed by the melee bonuses. The net was fairly CDR + the AOE shock. I noticed a few times enemies would step on the residuals of my net, and get netted by it. I rarely had issues with netting phantoms, and when I did, they died REALLY quickly to a Kishok / Power Attack combo.
A fairly solid class i couldn't find much to complain about honestly; but I will admit its play style isnt very normal at all.

It doesn't stun enemies with armour but it does massive damage to ones with armour.

Yeah, I looked at the skills and just said: "What? It doesn't make SENSE!"
I haven't tried playing it yet, but I'm going to see how this goes. Gonna ignore Shockwave, I think. Waste of a CD when I could be spamming the net.

They trade Turian Stability for Spare Ammo, which isn't exactly a good deal. I find not being able to dodge extremely annoying, but the Soldier is still a viable class. Haven't unlocked Sentinel so can't say either way there yet.

Also, I've been loving my Batarian Soldier... NOTHING is funnier than when a brute charges you and dies due to hitting itself for 150% damage. Also explosive Ballistic Blades.

I haven't unlocked one but it seems odd it can't dodge / roll,
Also how does that submission net do against Phantoms? is it like Stasis?
