I really hate to add to everything that I've been seeing on here or to all the hate that's been plaguing this game, but I feel I must address this. It's made the game unplayable to me and there are quite a few people having the same issue, though surprisingly enough, I haven't seen the exact issue on these boards, thus this post.
Basically, I just started up the game for the first time, imported my ME2 file and aside from the game freezing 6 times before I could even get to a spot for the game to autosave successfully again, I can't even view the journal or the manual. Everytime I do, I get an empty template. (See image below.)
All the sounds continue to function and the pulsing background image continues to loop fine as well, but for everything else, the game is dead. I can't back out, I can't do anything save for hitting the PS button and quitting the game and doing it all over again. Now I could TRY to continue playing like this, but I don't see how I could without the codec or briefing of missions, if that's what is even within the journal. I couldn't tell you SINCE I CAN'T OPEN IT. Is there a way I might be able to remedy this or is that hoping for too much?
How does a series like Mass Effect conclude with such a broken game?
