So, I downloaded Resurgence, which installed fine at about 210mb.  The game said I needed an update so I exited and opened Origin.  I rightclicked on my installed game icon and chose "Look for Updates" or whatever.  It comes back and says it found one for a whopping 9.9GB!!!

What the hell kind of patch is that!!!

Not a patch, the updater might think your game is broken or your game is actually broken

Same thing as OP. What the ****? My game ran just fine before I downloaded Resurgence!
