Why do people still care what religious groups think or say?

Politicians care.

I'm sorry, but the Christian group is right. Theres no reason why all sexual orientations should be able to enjoy the game equally. I mean, that idea is just Satanic.

Obvious bait is obvious.

you mean the people who are trying to keep us in the dark ages, or religious groups in general?
because some religious groups have the right idea, CAFOD for example.

I think religious nut jobs should make their own games, movies, and all other forms of required entertainment so they can leave the rest of the world alone.

organized religion is the last remnant of our current phase of evolution. When mankind can abandon it, we will enter a new intellctual and spiritual age...

Looks like EA is successfully deflecting the attention from them being voted the worst company in America and the ME3 controversy. People are actually seeing them as victims now somehow.

Not me, I'm just offering some Satanic support on the matter! Hail Satan, cookies and sexytime for everyone! Religion might indeed be our last real mental hurdle as a species. I hope to grow old enough to see it's demise.

I love the way ME3 handled homosexuality. The galaxy had bigger problems than worrying about who was sleeping with who. That was refreshing. And that is a view I would love to see in the US, but sadly the US is about 100 years behind when it comes to anything dealing with sexuality. I firmly believe it is the Puritan values that influenced everything from social mores to the laws.

Yes exactly, most notable is the "Anti-gay boycott", be vary wary of that one folks.  It looks suspicously like something designed to make EA boycotters look like bigots.

They did this before with Dante's Inferno.  It didn't sell as well as they wanted and people quickly ripped it apart for being rushed, plagiarising God Of War, and ruining one of the most classic poems of all time.  What happens next?

Christians "protest" Dante's Inferno and cry out about it, except, it wasn't christian evangalists, it was EA employees(they got busted some time later and even admitted it).

I don't see how the worlds largest exporter of porn can be considered sexually repressed.

Yeah. This is one of the things that BW does right. Nothing wrong with the sexual diversity of in-game characters.

This thread is absolutely ****ing hilarious.

*ahem*

To the militant atheist group:

I would like to see things from your point of view, but my head doesn't go that far up my own ass.

My apologies,

You know what, there are alot of good Christians out there. Real Christians that really do believe in not judging others, lest you be judged. And doing unto others as you would have them do unto you.

The real issue is Fundamentalism, regardless of religion. Fundamentalism is the bane of this world's existence.

But they're such busy bodies, my God. I think it's because they don't like to drink; no puff, puff, pass, no sex, no dancing; no gambling...all they can do is eat. Which explains alot. *shifty eyes*

You'd hear an outcry from more non-Fundamentalist worldwide against these nosy, busy bodies, but we're too busy--drinking; dancing; sexing; gambling and puff puff passing...

Ha!

(just sayin')

Just because the thought of two dudes grosses you out doesn't mean that people who lean that way should be left out or discriminated against, that's how I see it anyway. Honestly in a game at least, as long as they're not throwing it in my face I'm cool with it.

I don't understand your comment... I am a lesbian, my FemShep was a lesbian, and was approached several times by guys (Kaiden, Jacob and Vega come to mind first, with Vega being the most aggressive). Would you say they threw their heterosexuality in my face?

No, that's normal I guess, I don't play Femshep but I guess it's just like when Cortez subtly hints at you to see if you swing his way, what I meant was the example that I gave like for Zevran in DAO, and how he was incessantly telling me how strong, burly handsome charming bla bla bla I was in "character" with his personality, it was just really annoying to where it got to the point that I would just not talk to him anymore.

(Plus hes an opportunist assassin who betrays you in the end anyway so I just slit his throat after he tries to kill me on my second playthrough haha)

Maybe so.. but not in this thread..:D

Call it a crutch, but I've noticed many of the pro-gay "religious people" do not know ANYTHING about the faith they claim to follow.. and use current fads as a substitute. It irks me.
