Looks like EA is successfully deflecting the attention from them being voted the worst company in America and the ME3 controversy. People are actually seeing them as victims now somehow.
Yes exactly, most notable is the "Anti-gay boycott", be vary wary of that one folks. It looks suspicously like something designed to make EA boycotters look like bigots.
They did this before with Dante's Inferno. It didn't sell as well as they wanted and people quickly ripped it apart for being rushed, plagiarising God Of War, and ruining one of the most classic poems of all time. What happens next?
Christians "protest" Dante's Inferno and cry out about it, except, it wasn't christian evangalists, it was EA employees(they got busted some time later and even admitted it).
My thoughts exactly. Except, I would still rank it as merely being a distraction even if the anti-gay boycott was real. So what if some tiny fraction of people who probably wouldn't even play the game anyway call for a boycott?
Tens of thousands of people join groups online stating their dissatisfaction with the ME 3 endings, EA wins the "worst company in America" title for their tendency to ruin the credibility of other companies they purchase and tendency to take disgusting advantage of their customers (here's a great audio clip of EA's CEO talking about how they take advantage of customers: ), and now EA-Bioware would like to have some attention deflected to their gay rights stance? Seems like a lame distraction.
