Here's huge grats from Sweden, a 46 (well 47 this year) y/o woman, and also from my 78 y/o mother, who's first reaction when she visited and saw me playing ME, was "That is a great voice!"

That's not sexist, and actually, that's not the first time I've heard that opinion either. I've only ever played Paragon Hale-Shepard though.

I'm currently doing a femshep playthrough now, and as 90% of my playthroughs have been manshep it takes a little while to "get used to" Jennifer Hales voice. Not that its bad, she does a stellar job, its just a little jarring at first to have a different voice.

Agreed, sounds kind of uninterested in what he's saying.  Mass effect introduction hearing femshep "...naomi...hunter?"

Ms.Hale is in no way overrated....Simply a fantastic job in all 3 games. The only time I thought Manshep was within his range was when he had a conversation with Allers.

Agree with OP... Female Shepard VO looks much more realistic than male one. Especially in the final part of ME3.

I am in love with this woman! i am addicted. She is one of the reasons i love this title.
I read that she will be in diablo 3. I just hope she will have a major role there!

I think she's wonderful as Femshep. The main reason I usually play her instead of Male Shep.

Jennifer Hale is phenomenal, I've been a huge fan of her voice work for many years.
From MGS to KOTOR and now ME, she is a very talented women and or though I play a mostly male Shepard, Hale's Femshep voice is the superior version in my opinion. I have at least 1 FemShep and it's amazing on how much more depth she brings to the character. I would recommend to anyone to at least do one playthrough as FemShep and see for yourself.
She is Amazing.
