Stasis bubble > Net. End of story. You can nab 2-3 geth hunters with the bubble and send a warp their way which makes them drop to the ground. The stasis bubble cannot be dodged, geth hunters can dodge your net and then be prepared to get stun locked to death. Phantoms will dodge the net because unlike overload, stasis, reave its not insta travel ability.

Fire the net at the phantom. She dodges, your dead. Fire stasis at the phantom, frozen in time, warp bomb ready. Blade armour is nothing special and shockwave is still broken and is really in need of patching.

Stasis also breaks if you put to many rounds in to enemy rendering BE's useless and you can set net as a trap on the ground so they can't dodge and it last much longer then stasis and can be used to slow down armored targets. Stasis is rather futile against armored units

She dodges, you're dead? Except when she tries to combo you, and kills herself on your spikes. Also, the net can be set as a trap. Phantoms don't dodge traps.

A Phantom's melee combo can break through the shield of pretty much any class as far as I can tell, my Krogan Soldier with Fortification up included. That's over 1200 damage. 150% of 1200 is 1800, more than enough to kill a Phantom who has taken some hits.

Batarians are scum, but the Batarian Sentinel Scum is quite a good class.

Batarian Sentinel on gold is garbage. Everything dodges your damn net.

I have better luck getting the net to stick if I am nearly in melee range, but yeah...melee range. On gold. Usually a bad idea.

I was running around a bit solo on gold with mine, specced for max melee damage and with a Claymore.

I will freely admit I may not have the skills to take this very far (never tried a melee build before either), but I have to say I could actually see this working well in the right hands (though maybe not solo). This build immobilizes and takes out flanking enemies in no time.

However, I considering respeccing to get max protection from the armor and fitness and still using a Claymore.

So here are the specs I used

Blade armor -6 melee damage/damage returned/durability(shield buff)
Shockwave - 5 force & damage/increased detonation power.
Sumbmission Net - 6 incapacitate/recharge speed/shield and barrier
Enforcer - 6 capacity/power damage/damage ammo
Fitness - 3

Loadout
Carnifex - AP/ barrel mod
Geth smg - ULM/ extended mag

The net is a base for tech dets and works well with engineers.

I like this, except I'd pick both durability perks for the armor, since your melee is rather strong anyway, and you won't be using it much outside of netted targets. Survivability is paramount.

I see what you mean but i figure that on gold, the diffrence is negligable for durability. I have been running this class quite frequently now and much success provided someone could detonate my netted targets.

Do you really need shockwave? It's pretty much useless against most enemies AND your infiltrators will have you executed for using it. Albeit fitness is not that useful either.

It can detonate tech burst so its somewhat usefull but not necessary if playing with other engineers

I loved the Sentinel but hated the Soldier. But I just followed the advice to set up the range of the Ballistic Blades & make them explode & now I love both Batarians.

And they seem to be tougher than the Krogan. I don't like playing as the Krogan because my shields always seem to go down too easily & I get killed a lot. But the Batarians are tanks!

I followed your build, but went with electric net damage, instead of shields and barrier. I wanted to give it some auxilliary CC damage.

Using just a Mattock II.

Currently playing Gold. I think I'm more of a liabilty to my team than a help. :(

Blade Armor 0: Worthless
Shockwave 6: Radius, Reach, Recharge
Net 6: Damage, Damage, Field
Enforcer 6: Power Damage, Power Damage, Shotguns
Fitness 6: Durability, Shield, Fitness
Weapon: Claymore (Capacity and Shredder)

The sheer number of biotic explosions you can set off with shockwave spam is insane ... especially if its with AE Reave or Warp bubble. Shockwave also creates a virtual wall that the enemy just can't seem to pass when you can spam it every 1-2 seconds. Plus shockwave can be used through walls and obsticles to hit/stagger targets.
