Incorrect. Evidence pointing to Indoctrination is overwhelming.

The "Paragon" pillars of "control" option are labelled "bad_ending". The game is screwing with you on so many levels.

Try again.

While its true that Paragon/Renegade was switched, destroy being the "good ending" and red and all.

But, Indoctrination is pure garbage and is dead, people need to get over it. You guys are starting to sound like Jehova's witnesses. Get off my porch.<_<

Tell me where it says I.T. is dead. I'd LOVE to know where you got that information.

Yet another time.
Bioware stated that this is closure and that this was the ending they intended and are sticking with it, didn't expect to be making the Extended Cut but it wont change the endings. Fact.
Now that we have that out  of the way. Guess what happens if you believe INDOCTRINATION. Oh yeah, Shep wakes up in London rubble, it all was a dream. Now, if thats true, then the FREAKING REAPERS are still there, very much a problem, your telling me thats how it ends? Shep wakes up and Harbinger is still flying around? I don't think so. Case closed, go home.

WOW. You're incredibly rude. And I already am at home.

I asked you to tell me where BioWare specifically dismisses IT. I've seen the PAX panel. I've read the announcements. I know BioWare's stance on the ending.

Where do they say that IT is false? Also, I never said IT would absolutely HAVE to mean that the Reapers aren't defeated. That is an assuption made by several IT enthusiasts, but not all of us subscribe to that. Your EMS could determine whether or not you defeat the Reapers after Shep wakes up. Which is why you need an extremely high EMS to have Shepard live at all, and why Shep only lives at the end of Destroy. The EMS determines a victory or a defeat. The galaxy MUST defeat the Reapers conventionally, and they -can- do it. Thannix cannons and the cooperation of the 4000 EMS. The Reapers are SCARED. This is their last attempt to try and find a victory. TIM found a way to control them. Shepard and Anderson found a way to kill them.

Extra cut-scenes MAY explain that the breaking of the indoctrination attempt is the victory. And because Shepard is free in his/her mind, Shepard can then rally the forces of the galaxy (via an empowered speech or something) in order to beat the Reapers. It will be a long, hard battle, but it CAN be explained in only a few cutscenes.

Why are IT naysayers so virulent and pissy?

Buu-

Logic would indicate that Citadel blowing up and human surviving=false
Bioware giving you options to KEEP THE REAPERS ALIVE=false

Indoc is the other thing that makes sense. There is a VERY heavy blue glow as the camera pans in the final scene.

Also, Jessica told me yesterday on twitter that she has an INDOC PLAYTHROUGH. If it's so stupid and dead, AND SHE HAS SEEN WHAT'S COMING. Why would she have a playthrough like that?

Bioware has had a lot of chances to disprove IT but they haven't which means:
1. Truth DLC is coming
2. ME4 is going to be the big suprise

I'm glad you agree! Because nothing in that vid makes it impossible, and if anything, makes it plausible, that Shep woke up on the Citadel.

I'm uh, "agnostic" on the IT issue... but a couple counterpoints:

While Jessica has an IT playthrough, she also has a non-IT playthrough. Maybe she knows the post-ending facts now, but I think it fair to say at the time she made those playthroughs, she didn't.

Bioware haven't said that IT is false.. but they've been careful to avoid saying it's true, also. We just don't know..

There's no "blue" in the final panning over rubble, that's been debunked right here on this thread.

There's 2 different explosions, yet I feel like some believers of IT firmly ignore the 1st blast, which is described in details in this thread, because that would allowe Shepard to be "alive on the Citadel".

And here is this reasoning by the absurd again : if something is not proven to be false, then it is proven to be true?

Then another one writes that, since the Cidatel is "Reaper tech" it should explose in tiny bits like the Death Star. Did not occur to actually go watch the cutscene to see that's absolutely not the case?

Waaaay to go, guys.

I never said it was true. It's a theory. But some are saying -difinitively- that IT is false. Which is foolish.

For example. I FEEL that there is -probably- no "God," but I would never say, "THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO GOD." I cannot know that for sure. No one can.

This is the same damn thing.

At this point, I'm not considering anything Merizan says above a random user's post on this forum, and neither should anyone else.
