theres pictures of the thing shepard is shooting at the end, when you see that explode some curved parts come off too.Iconoclaste wrote...
Shepard wakes up in rubble. Rubble looks like concrete, but it can as well be any kind of porous "compound". A few seconds in the "Shep_alive" video, I can see something that looks like a car front hood with clear stripes (like a Mustang of Corvette), a slightly curved, bright painted surface. Any hint about that?

We should then see a beam when they show the citadel in scenes or when its coming apart.Kanon777 wrote...
I believe its one of the makos that where around the conduit. My understanding is that Shep managed to go back to earth trough the conduit that he used to get in the citadel.

Concrete. There is none on the Citadel. And when did Shepard end up in these sealed off areas? And why didn't he bleed out? Also wouldn't kilometre sized debris falling into Earth destroy large areas of it? Wait if the Citadels a mass relay does that mean Earth will be covered in Element Zero?
And no blue tint doesn't mean anything. He could have landed in thousands of different locations.
Mass Relays are only powered by element zero, the actual transportation is done by an artifically created biotic field.

The prothean planet of feros was completely made of concrete and they were meant to be the most advanced species of their era.

Sigh. ok, say the Indoctrination theory is correct. ONE PROBLEM. If its correct and it ends with him waking up in rubble in london, THE DAMN REAPERS ARE STILL THERE AND NOTHING WAS SOLVED AND UNFINISHED GAME. They confirmed this was the end they wanted, meaning no extra gameplay after shepard breathes.PhotonMaze wrote...
The Indoctrination theory would mean they have to stick to their current ending. How is it out of the question?
It would surely count as clarity.

Shepard is definately waking up on the citadel. Who is to say there is no concrete or material that looks like concrete on the citadel?

You can keep Ventkidif you feel you must...but...only for those who chose the Destroy ending and got Shepard taking a gasp...in the rubble after beam blast on Earth...you wake up after Joker tries hailing you on the comm...you're bleeding...badly. You get up...make your way to the beam and the Citadel. You encounter the Illusive man...have afew short words with him before he realizes he's losing control of his voice and his body. You then start hearing Harbinger who proceeds to taunt you a little more telling you that he's about to rip open the crucible and destroy it and any ounce of hope left in the war. All this while Hackett and Joker are telling you that they have Harbinger in their sights and are focusing on an all-out assault but require you to distract it so that the allied fleets can get into position. While this is happening, you are also told that Krogan forces or Salarian STG (whichever you side with) have made their way onto the Citadel and will attempt to evacuate any survivors and open the arms of the Citadel up in time for Shepard to activate the Crucible. Only thing standing in Shepard's way is Harbinger/Illusive Man. Two ways to deal with this.
1)Talk it out and try and get hold of the Illusive Man in order to try controlling Harbinger one more time. Paragon/Renegade him into getting Harbinger to release from the Crucible and expose its weak point so that the allied fleets get a clean shot of Harbinger and destroys it. Doing so, causes the Illusive Man's Reaper tech to overload, causing him to die a slow and painful death.
2) Harbinger tires of your talk and unleashes the Illusive Man's Reaperized form (and Bioware does have the sketches for it...if you have seen the ME3 Artbook). You then have to defeat the Harbinger/Illusive Man reaper. When you defeat it..Harbinger releases from the Crucible and gets blown to kingdom come by the allied forces.
You activate the Crucible but it compromises the structure of the Citadel. You go down withthe Citadel. Joker insists on coming back to get you before the Citadel blows up...and depending on your EMS, you talk him out of it and it steers clear of the destruction or you can't, Normandy comes too close and both you and your crew die. Either way...the Crucible destroys all Reapers and keeps the mass relays intact. If the Normandy survives...you get a hero's funeral and salute with all your surviving squad mates, allies and aquaintences making acameo appearance in the last scene.

Oh really, so it did not occur to you that the same technological componants would be copied and used across the galaxy of advanced races, you know, someone in the next building is using the same type of light switch as me, that must mean I'm in their apartment right now and not in my own apartment typing this.Evo_9 wrote...

because that would leave the game unfinished, if it was all a dream, shepard still has the reapers to deal with, nothing was solved. Bioware clearly didn't think that this reaction was going to happen they weren't expecting to make this extended cut DLC. Just stop.

You're not getting it, he is simply saying that parts of the citadel might look concrete, especially when blown to bits or burnt looking. Anywho, look at the picture. Shep_Alive is on the citadel.DJBare wrote...

Did you notice this cable anywhere around london? Wouldnt you of noticed it if shepard is lyin amongst the cables and rubble?
You have plenty of time to look round before you go upto the citadel, there is nothing that remotely resembles it.
If you have please post a picture.
Just because its concrete or something like concrete shep is lying in doesnt mean its london rubble.

I don't get why people want it to be true anyway, if what recent news has been said is true, Destroy ending is the best possible ending and is not bad at all. They have basically said, shep is alive, could reunite with crew, people on citadel are alive, relays could be remade considerably fast if everyone works together, see how fast they made the crucible? Might takes years but obviously worth it. Geth might not be destroyed considering Shep is alive. He had synthetics in him to bring him back to life, probably dependant on them so I don't think the wave took out the geth possibly.Bill Casey wrote...

True, but people could argue those explosions around the citadel and it breaking apart took them out, but, it's all kinda up to what the extended cut will say. It might sound silly, but however they explain it, thats what will happen. They could say shepard rides down on a magical pony, and we just have to accept it lolB)shepard1038 wrote...
I think Shepard survived was because the Citadel has massive mass effect field and kinetic barries.
