I saved Kaiden from the very start because I'm not bad at videogames

Suck it

(I'm joking, sort of. I mean I did save Kaiden. But you can maybe still be good at videogames and save Ashley...we all have temporary lapses in judgement)

I liked her in ME1, the religion and distrust of aliens made her stand out in a good way. However, after ME2 i switched to Tali and never looked back. Never disliked Ashley and I still kill Kaiden, but I simply liked the more fleshed out development of Tali.

No, I didn't backtrack on her when they suddenly, drastically, and inexplicably changed her look. But, provided the Extended Cut gives me a reason to ever play the series again, I WILL backtrack on her now that I've played ME3 and discovered that her personality has actually worsened and her character development is nearly non-existent. I saved her because she had more to do and to live for in her life than Kaiden did, but her poorly developed character and unremarkable actions have wasted that sacrifice. So from now on, it'll be Kaiden. Even if he's just as empty a character as Ashley, at least HE'S likable.

The problem with Kaiden in ME3 is that you miss a TON of dialogue.

Because it's linked inadvertently to your relationship with Ashley.

So I've heard, but at least with Kaiden the lack of significant dialogue will be because he's not actually saying it, rather than having lots that's just rubbish.  Besides, maybe they'll patch it, some day.

No. Canon Shepard romanced her in ME1 though. Doesn't regret it, it was good for him while it lasted, but then Horizon happened and Ashley lost trust in Shepard. Shepard moved on to Miranda, and has no intention of going back. Her loves her, she loves him.

Even though I never once allowed for Ashley to get off of Virmire on all of my saves, I was rather shocked to see her look in ME3. She completely lost the gung-ho soldier look, which I thought only good thing about her, and now looks like she is ready to go out clubbing. A terrible decision if you ask me, but at least I never have to see that disappointment. Not to mention the racism...

You still have TAli, I think you're getting more than enough racism in your imports.:wizard:

After they turned her from  a Military chick into a Super Model? Personally I got with her in ME1 when she was hated because mayn thought she was a religious fanatic and racist for some stupid reason. Than they make her hotter than Miranda and I notice many turned around and romanced her and even tossed Kaiden to his death to bring her alive for an import.

Backtracked the other way.

Loved her in ME1, so full of self-doubt then gaining confidence from Shepard.  Spunky, feisty, lots of attitude.  Not willing to compromise her beliefs but willing to keep an open mind.  Plus girl-next-doorsy + tomboy.  Poetry was annoying after awhile.

ME3 she's all sad and emo all the time.  Constantly mistrusting Shepard to an even greater extent than she did in ME2 if that makes any sense.  After Shepard saved her and some of Horizon + defeated the Collectors.  Plus even more poetry.

I'm spacing her for Miranda.

ha, I liked her for those reasons in ME1 as well, then in ME2 she pissed me off because she pretty much just leaves you hanging, even though you are about to go on the fight of your life in a couple missions and you FRICKIN ALREADY DIED ONCE.
So I had Shepard romance Tali, then saw what they did to Ash in ME3... I bet my Dog the Bounty Shepard is glad he moved on now.

Yeah, that just confused me.

Ash pre-Horizon: "Shepard, I loved you.  Why didn't you contact me.  You're working with Cerberus now?  Remember all the sick stuff they did?  What's going on here you traitor?"

Shepard:  (Well, okay.  I was dead for 2 years but whatever.  She's upset, I get it.  She'll get over it I hope plus it's pretty obvious there's a Collector problem and I just saved her life...)

Ash post-Horizon via email:  "Sorry about all that, you know I just missed you a lot.  But I know you're doing something important with that Collector thing so good luck out there don't die.  Here's a poem about how much I love you."

Shepard:  (Okay, glad we're good.  I'm going to tell Kelly we're good.  Gotta beat the Collectors then take care of this thing with ASh...)

Ash in ME3:  "So are you still with Cerberus?  Cerberus dog?  You a clone?  Do you even know how much of a clone you are you Cerberus clone?  Or a husk?  Are you a husk?  Be straight with me Shepard you're definitely a husk."

Shepard:  "...............fuuuuuuuuuuuuu"

Virmire is always a tough call for me because I'm so "meh" about Kaiden and Ashley. It's really a toss-up.

I romanced her in ME1... didn't sleep with her. I had a problem with her anti-alien rhetoric.

I then proceeded to romance an alien, Tali.

I don't regret it one teeny tiny bit.

I liked Ash's character in ME1 and 2. It's believable. But there's something that just makes me dislike her for the majority of 3.

She's my Shepards' LI in most of my playthroughs. I really liked her as a character in ME 1, not so much in ME 3. I still think she is cool.

Okay. Wait. It is possible to dislike a character more than Jacob?

Image IPB Jacob was my favorite of the first companions we got (Meaning Kaidan, Jacob, James).

I was Ash's in ME1 pretty solidly. Had no intention of cheating on her. Then Horizon happened. My next mission was Tali's recruitment and I haven't looked back since!!

romanced ash in me1... just wasnt keen on asari. but realised it was a mistake.

ME2 the horizon encounter soured everything i felt about her character. Miranda was a much better choice.. Tali even better.

in ME3 did romance her only to see what would come of it but was thoroughly dissapointed and found myself groaning throughout some of the dialogue.

preferred tali because shes the "fun" romance liara seems too clingy and ash too ****y even during their funny moments... Tali and Garrus.. they only 2 comrades you have that stick with you over the trilogy.

I didn't care for her pre-transformation.

She was just as irritating post-transformation.

Seriously, woman?

IF I was with Cerberus, I could have shot you and James in the back of the head a millions times by now.

I decided I liked her because ME3 made me realize just how much I hate Kaiden.
