I know, I know, everyone says she isn't reliable, but come on...after all this...after EVERYTHING that's happened...would anyone at BioWare/EA really be cool with her saying stuff like this with absolutely no basis?  

And I'm not saying it is true.  Just wondering what people think.

See, there's nothing wrong with her saying that, and if we get more options then great, but if we don't people will accuse her of lying and other nonsense. It's just better not to read too much into twitter comments.

wow so this chick just keeps throwing fuel on the fire damn. I mean I'd be thrilled if there was a new option or 13 but considering Gamble has posted no new endings on his twitter she's going directly against that (or at least implying the possibility of it)

Right.  And I certainly don't begrudge them having to change things during development, though I wish they had erred to the side of caution in the lead-up to release of the game.  Honestly, even though I suppose I'm a pro-ender in that I don't mind the ending, there are a lot of things that were said in publicity that just were blatantly untrue.  And if the lies weren't really lies, but in fact more or less changes because of time/budget constraints, that's fine.  Again, maybe they should have said a wee bit less about it.

I think it's great that she communicates with fans, but all she is doing with her answers is fueling speculation, not providing clarity.

While I know Miss Merizan wasn't exactly reliable on all accounts in the beginning days of the Retake Movement, Bioware is aware of the volatility of the situation now. I highly doubt Miss Merizan is allowed to say anything at this point that

A - Is not something established by Bioware's leadership
B - Can be interpreted as false hope
C - Could lead to enormous backlash is proven false

I'm staying pessimistic, but take the comments as you do
