They would be removed if they weren't at least contemplating these things. Any further backlash at this point would be disastrous and people need to realize this. No you probably won't get all the changes you want but I think everything will be more palatable in the Summer. Jessica is a community manager and is very well versed in public relations. She knows what she can and cannot say.

There's a translation on the previous page. Basically, it boils down to:

1. They're confirming that they're not rewriting the entire Priority: Earth mission.
2. They're not commenting on whether or not they're going to change any of the interaction with the Catalyst or the endings.

For those who missed it or don't want to click a link ... the tweets failed to either confirm or deny whether or not there would, kinda' sorta' maybe, be more than the 3 options given by the crucible, hinting that the bit where everyone wants to ground the starchild - no tv, no phone, no internet, no dinner, and sure as heck no flippin' ice cream - has been noted and sorta' maybe might be in there.

And, wow - I need to stop getting my hopes up. Even if it meant the destruction of all organic life, telling the Catalyst to take his ridiculous options premised on his disprovable, racist assertions and go shove it would be so satisfying, I'd totally do it.

Yes. One thing about PR is that, once the  PR status is enacted, employees won't be saying ANYTHING that can come back to bite them in the butt. By now, EA clearly understands there is a problem (the extent of their understanding is debatable) and don't think for one second that every single phrase a Bioware employee speaks now isn't heavily filtered. 

And that's where I find it interesting that she wouldn't flat-out deny something that so many people want.  I mean, I know the "extent of understanding is debatable," but at this point they'd have to be beyond idiotic to believe that people aren't analyzing every word EA employees utter on the ME fiasco.  So why not just shoot something down that would otherwise give people that much hope, unless they are at least contemplating the idea?

We'll find out...
