Am I missing out on much if I kill Wynne?

This time, I killed her the moment she started spouting her drivel. Am I missing out on some epic sidequest by doing this? I never got any Wynne-related quests in the first playthrough.

Seriously, how can anyone hate Wynne? She's like the best first grade teacher and grandmother you never had.

Killing grandma is not smart.
Think of it more like "putting grandma to bed, permenantly".
Wynne is wicked healer though. When I'm not playing a mage, I usually keep her in the group.

Plus i loved it when she told my character that she's not afraid of me... 1.4 sec later she was lying dead on my feet.
Than i talked to Morrigan with Wynne blood all over my face
priceless.
The little apprentice mage owned that old hag witch who's supposed to have some super hidden power..
Overrated old hag.

I'm already a mage and she was super annoying on my last playthrough. So much that I never used her.

No epic side-quest. She's a good healer and some of her banter/interactions are interesting.
I'd suggest going through the game with a each companion at least once, but that's only if you're into the multiple thing.

LOL, I hated her as well. Especially when she kept telling me to end it with Alistair. I want to say my your own business B****.

There'll be no one to darn your shirts or give you grandmotherly advice if you kill her.
Speaking of socks... how did one of Alistairs end up in her bedroll? Maybe she and Alistair are hitting it on the side... that's why she wants me to end it. I knew there was more reasons to hate her!

But to me she is just an old hag who didn't like it that I did the nasty with Morrigan first and then Leliana

As for missing out, not really. Her sidequest is very short (just go somewhere, talk to someone, be done with it). She is an excellent healer, but I'm doing fine with Morrigan who I gave the single regular healing spell (playing on hard, not nightmare, maybe that makes a difference?).
She does have nice party banter - with Leliana & Alistair if you're going for the "happy family" feeling, with Zevran & Morrigan if you enjoy your companions to make fun of her and scoff at her (which is what I prefer, I admit it), or with Oghren if you want to see more of his not-so-subtle humour.
