Last time I played Origins I ran into a Bug that didn't allow me
to marry Anora and Have Alistair remain a Grey Warden. The only way
Around this I found was to exile Alistair.



1. Does this Bug still exist in XBox 360 Version?

2. Is their a Work Around without Exiling AliStair and Still Marry Anora?

Are you sure it's a bug?

As far as I'm aware, you simply have to ensure that Alistair is the one who kills Loghain. Anora won't marry you if you are the one who kills her father.

You can avoid the dialogue with Loghain yielding if you have Alistair fight the duel himself, which effectively gets you out of having to make any decision on whether or not to show mercy. Alistair will automatically kill him when Loghain's health gets down low enough.

But Alistair cannot be hardened for this to work.  If he is, he takes the crown automatically after killing Loghain.  But you're right; as long as Alistair is willing to denounce his claim for the throne, Anora will allow him to stay a gray warden.

Yes, Anora agreed to Marry me at the Landsmeet. The Moments after the Landsmeet however she didn't knowledge Marriage or ask if I was still interested.

Still haven't been able to Marry Anora & Keep Alistair as a Warden. So far the only way to to Marry Anora is to exile Alistair. Jut Replayed the game and the same results as above.

- Anora Agrees to Marry me

- Picked:
- The Blight is the Real Threat, Not Orlais
- You Allowed Howe to Imprison & Torture Innocents

- The Queen Speaks the Truth.
- (Wins the Landsmeet)
- The Landsmeet is Against you, Step down gracefully.

- Picks Alistair (Alistair auto Kills Loghain)
- I Shall Rule at Queen Anora's Side, As Her Husband

Everything after glitches out and Game never thinks Warden & Queen Anora will Marry each Other.

Is their a way to correct this? Either by Normal Means or by other Means?
