Is anyone else of the opinion that there might be some sort of bug with the EMS in single player? I just wonder, as I don't know if anyone has searched the code to see what is available.

I was so blind-sided by my love for Chakwas, I did not even know it was an option until I read this thread...

This was the hardest decision I ever had to make in the span of about 5 seconds.

Went with Dr. Michel because I'm a sucker for accents ;(

As for the difference, I think Chakwas = medi-gel efficiency, Michel = medi-gel capacity...plus an accent.

From a war assets perspective, you get war assets for leaving Chakwas, and both will give Shep a quest, so it's better to pick Michel.

Also, green eyes + accent.

I take it you're british? Otherwise they both have accents.

And Chakwas dies on the Citadel if you leave her.

So what? She's like, 100 years old anyway. She's been around since the Sith took over the galaxy and some dude crashed Norman... I mean Ebon Hawk on some random planet.

I chose Dr. Michel, I felt Dr. Chawkwas was getting a little too old for serving on heavily active military ship, and I also felt she could do more good with Admiral Hackett then with me.

You get to have a drink with Chakwas, anyone know whether you get a similar scene with Michel?

Dr. Michels most prominent feature is that she constantly changing accents. First time she spoke she sounded French-ish, second Swedish-ish, fourth WTF-ish.

I always pick Dr. Chakwas, even when I know Dr. Michel is available (and her accent reminds me of Leliana). It's like Kirk recruiting another doctor and leaving McCoy in a lab somewhere. That just doesn't fly.

She's as much part of the Normandy as Joker!

I promised Dr. Chakwas a drink, and by god, we'll have it.

This!  I didn't sit there screaming "OMG MIRANDA GET HER OUT QUICK!" at my monitor during the suicide mission in ME2 just to leave her behind in 3!

I wanted to bring Michel, but I remembered that she was trying to hit on Garrus. Hell no, woman, Garrus belongs with my FemShep.

This. I like Michel, but if she had been on my ship the first time I'd heard the story with the chocolate, I would have thrown her out of the airlock.

Plus, it just isn't the Normandy without Doc Chak.
