[The Irish Man]

 When the relays blew up it wasn't like the exposion from the arrival relay. The relays simply fell apart leaving all the races stranded in their own systems. During the destroy ending Shepard only kills all synthetics. The star child never said he would kill all life. The explosions from the individual relays most likely transported everyone to different places as seen with the Normandy. I'm pretty sure everyone didn't die because the alliance soldiers were stil on Earth after the blast.

When Shepard kills all synthetics can we call it a genocide or a sacrifice? I'm calling it a sacrifice because even though the Geth are a sentient form of mechanized life they are not organic. Shepard killing off the Batarians is a genocide but he did it as a sacrifice. I believe that Shepard in no way is committing genocide. Feel free to discuss.

Explain how you are different that does not involve stating that it is intuitivly obvious because that assertion is incredibly biased for obvious reasons.

They were upgraded with reaper code and became "True AI" They wouldn't be the same if they were rebuilt.

Except the geth aren't true people.

Jewish people don't lose their sentience when they're separated from one another.

An individual geth platform isn't sentient unless it's either packed with programs like Legion or among a larger group of programs.

ME3 even goes to length to mention that the geth haven't yet achieved "true sentience" with the Reaper code lore.

Geth absorbed the reaper code. Edi and Joker fall in love with each other. Synethsis Option holds potential for a "family" to be created.

Also. For all we know the star kid could have been lying about the destroy ending. We never actually see the geth getting wiped out and apparently some people who chose the destroy ending had EDI walk out of the Normandy.

Jewish people aren't made by quarians either. The geth are synthetic beings made by the quarians. They are not organic. Jewish people are organic.

It was only right before Legion died that he gained full independence as a "person". The reaper code gave the geth the missing piece to creating a "soul", so to speak. So I would say down the line it is very possible for geth to fall in love, and while they may not give birth conventionally, they could "build" a family.

The geth with Reaper upgrades are indoctrinated, anyway. Or will be, in time. Legion is prime example of the race turning a 180 and doing the opposite of what he told you in ME2.

ME4 will have geth as bad guys if they're still alive.

Technically your right and entitled to that opinion. However, most of us who met legion in me2, and had the peaceful resolution on Rannoch in ME3, feel much differently about the geth/synthetic sentient self-aware life.

I almost wish I could not care about synthetic life like your do, because at least then I could stomach one of the endings without wanting to punch shepard in the face.
