There's still DA3 to go with, as far as Dragon Age goes. As for Mass Effect... if they want to make another game set within that universe, in my opinion, they'll have to go quite far in the future, with a completely new cast and a new protagonist (obviously), along with... a more... "plausible" antagonist, nothing too exaggerated and certainly not along the lines of Reapers, to avoid another Crucible + Catalyst style ending.

I disagree, Dragon Age II left me with no desire to play the next installment.Mungolian_ wrote...
Dragon Age 2 may have been lesser than DA: O, but it hardly destroyed the universe or elicited such outrage that no one will buy the next game.

They rushed the ending, and are paying for that. They'd be stupid to make the same mistake in DA3.sporeian wrote...

ME3 was a great game apart from the ending.

Do I want to play another unfinished rushed game where the developer doesn't even take the time to engage their fan base and outright insults them at every turn?
Most people will be on the fense others will out right say no. Me i'm done, this was a bitter taste in my mouth, bioware was the only reason I still purchased EA games but theres no reason to anymore.
If this is how they view us as consumers why should we support them? because they know how to trick us thats why i'm very careful now of who I support, I know EA is the publisher but theres a certain amount of arrogance they exude and they are only 1 of the worst trust me activision and capcom are no better even 2kgames is pretty bad as well. So whos left, independent and indie games, go for the smaller publisher just hope and pray they don't get bought up..

Fully agree here. They have a different team as well and their head writer (for DA series) is still the head writer. David Gaider is up to a lot and it is all great. I could be sticking my head up in the clouds here, but I think they'll make it great...err despite Dragon Age 2 and last 10 minutes of Mass Effect 3.Cazlee wrote...

They actually apparently are, they understood the 3 major complaints: Decisions that Matters, Stop Reusing Levels, Equipment for Followers.
Although on the third aspect they will not allow full control to wear what we want but they will force us to stay true to your class

DA2 was rushed as well and was the most polarizing game BioWare had released up to that point. The major complaints about were how your choices didn't seem to really have any effect. You could side with Mages or Templars and you'd be pigeon holed into basically the same ending.
No way they'd do that twice after DA2....
Oh wait.

I hope they take a break from Mass Effect sequels and have something new to produce. Will they jump into another Mass Effect sequel straight away? Originally I would have said not until next generation consoles. However like most people I don't trust EA to let it rest for that long.
