On a more serious note: Could be interesting, I just find it disturbing they (as an RPG-ish studio) get to do a sequel to the "worst"/least succesful C&C variation.
Whats next for Bioware?

Why, didn´t you know that Thedas is actually located on an uncharted world in the Mass Effect universe? I thought that was common knowledge...iSpider-Man wrote...

I hope, at some point, they go back to the Jade Empire IP. I loved the music, the setting, just about everything in that game (with the possible exception of the Galaga mini-game). With the improvements made to the dialogue wheel in more recent games, I think it could really be something special. Plus, I'm suffering from a severe case of fantasy fatigue; I need a break from swords and elves, and a martial arts game about finding enlightenment would be a nice change of pace.

I have to say(with no intention of starting an arguement)some people are very unreasonable an unfair with BioWare. They are still the company that gave us the best games when everyone was busy playing Doom or Halo.

Bioware could be using all this feedback to make Dragon Age 3 a better game.
I just quote Dragon Age II's lead designer, Mike Laidlaw:
"Additionally, he also noted that a return to the RPG style of Dragon Age: Origins is unlikely"
and the story is about mages fighting templars... oh my...
sadly, there is no hope for better bioware games in the future.

Yes.
And im quite sure most of us here remember that, and would want for Bioware to continue giving us best games when everyone was playing CoD and other yearly shooter.
But alas.... all sign point to exactly what we fear most.

there is still some hope that DA3 might be good in spite of their insistence of spoon feeding us how the characters and their armor should look like to keep them true to their class
Why do developers feel the need to be immersed in my playthrough???
well if you want freedom I recommend Skyrim... it's the only game that allows me the freedom to be a Mage in tavern clothes or a bare chested warrior wearing only a fur kilt

I avoided DA2 based on user reviews at the time, but I've learned that I'm generally in agreement with reviewers, who reviewed both DA2 and ME3 well. Just finished DA2, and while its not exactly my type of game, I enjoyed the rich story and setting.
People ****ing about dungeons --> who cares, so minor compared to the story/characters/setting/acting/side quests.
I really, REALLY want to see a new Jade Empire, but Bioware has already started work on a new Baldur's Gate. There's a part of their website that is titled Baldur's Gate but they haven't added content to it yet.
the problem is the same as in ME3, no replay value no real choices, no matter if you sided with the Mages or the Templars you ended up killing the same people you pretty much killed everybody Blood Mages and Templars regardless of allegiance.
Not to mention that those same levels and dungeons became so ripetitive during only 1 playthrough go figure going through a second one just to find out there is no different outcome

I may pick up DA3, but after the crappy second installment and the horrid ending of ME3 and all the garbage DLC for DAO that promised one thing then delivered another. . . I would have to see some pretty glowing reviews before I even consider it.
forget the glowing reviews, ME3 had loads of them.... just wait a few weeks after release to see if there is any sheet storm on the horizon, otherwise you buy it.

I'm looking forward to the Baldur's Gate revisitation. For those of you youngsters who haven't played it yet, you've got something great coming, if they can pull it off.
they would probably make the arcade hack and slash version of it with very little customization and watered down RPG elements, but the graphics would be awesome

Dragon Age 2 may have been lesser than DA: O, but it hardly destroyed the universe or elicited such outrage that no one will buy the next game.
