you know I'm really not sure but I think I'm just done with them all together I really don't feel the need to be around for the next backlash or even the need to waste my money on more lackluster endings now maybe if their next game comes out and docent receive a huge fan backlash and once its down in price if I'm still hearing about how they saved themselves with it I might by it but as its stands I'm just done.

I think Mass Effect 3 game ended the pipe dream of future popularity of any new releases. I fear that EA will really be punished by losing the Bioware fans, and their stock prices will show, as the next few games will be bombs, just like that movie franchise from Disney John Carter. Most people will switch to Telltale games, Activision, and even Piranha games, and wait for EA games to be marked down in the $20 range before trying them out.

Since Mass Effcect and Dragon Age are pretty much finished due to various reasons.... now what?

How is Dragon Age finished? I thought they were making Dragon Age III, did I miss something?

I know the truth is hard to swallow, but really April 6th was a defining moment and Bioware dropped the ball horribly

I'll buy DA3 pre-owned. Bioware won't be getting another cent from me. I really enjoyed DA2, it ironed out all the annoying parts of DA1. The repetitive encounters and same maps being used up to 10 times was really annoying though.

The mess with ME3 has to be a nightmare for the DA3 team. Hoping that ME3 would score a home run and they would benefit with some runoff of good will. Now its all about disappoint towards endings and choices not mattering on everyone's minds.

It's not ALL on BioWare, remember guys they gave us ME1 and 2. It's more about EA,...I think they are a cancer, a plague on the gaming industry. Looks at the Command & Conquer games,... 3 different "universe's" games and they ruined all three. People say of EA they are so profitable so great because they has all the sports games,...but there's no real original story?

So what's next for BioWare? I think that's simple. They need to cut ties with EA, and either continue the current storyline in Mass Effect OR introduce new story lines ( games, books, comics etc etc )

Bioware made a successful prequel to the Star Wars universe by setting it 1000 years before the movies. Perhaps the next ME will be set 1000 years in the future? That could work...

I don't expect they'll use the same main character over multiple games though (something already mentioned by Casey Hudson prior to ME3's release)... simpler to do like Knights of the Old Republic and use a different main character for every game but import character decisions to alter/customize the world according to your previous character's decisions (like DA).

No matter what they release the torches and angry mob will be waiting. They have an immposible task ahead of them and I genuinely feel sorry for the team who has to work on DA3.
