I have no DLC installed, so they don't count.

I have 6 characters created with the downloaded character creator (not one a human noble).  Played through as my City Elf Rogue without starting any of the others.  I got the acheivement when I hit the roof of the fort to face the last fight (hope that's not spoilery.)

I did not work for the Crows.

Don't know what to tell you other than I do think that many people who are adamant that they didn't miss anything are probably wrong - even if they used a strategy guide or walkthrough.

I'd suggest holding down the key that highlights every object you can interact with... and interact with everything.

This is probably key.  Some things are not obvious at all at all.

Whatever , nobody could possibly mention an area or building I haven't gone in before but you could all try

Go on and try to tell me the most secret areas of Ferelden you THINK might be missable

Oh **** I think I just realize what it must be

You know if you save the dogs life in ostagar you get a random encounter and the dogs there?......... I killed the dog on that save

I wonder if THAT counts as an area?

A hidden one that I'd found that solved my problem was a quest that involved the crows giving you an assassins contract.

There is a quest that opens up an area that is a qunari camp where you have to slay them. This was the hardest location for me to find, so maybe that was it.

Do the summoning fonts, then encounter one of the spirits on the road later?

I never did the summoning fonts on my first playthrough but still got the achievement.

Four complete playthroughs, no achievement. It's generally held on gamefaqs 360 board that the achievement is glitched. It doesn't appear to be related to how much of the world is explored; people have received the achievement with less than 80%. At 97% on my last playthrough (and having gone into the dwarven chantry for the first time), I had hopes. But in spite of following the oft-used list from the 360 boards to check and double-check the locations that people think count, it was not to be. Frustrating.

Not going to help but I got it first time and missed quite a lot. Human Noble. Don't know enough to know what counts.

Although I do like the OP's view on things. 1 person is having an issue, it MUST be broken (with swearing). The achievement is for stepping foot in every place in the game, so you have to do that. Wish I could help you more, honestly I do.

I went to every listed place in that link you posted and in fact more places than that even

I even have a super rare Axe called the Axameter , because thats how ridiculously thorough I was on this save I even got the rarest random encounter in the game for craps sake

It's just a thought, but did you visit the chantry at Orzamar, and also enter all of the spirit doors in the fade? I'm not entirely sure about the fade, but it's just possible that the destination of those doors could be classed as locations needed for the traveller achievement.

I got it first time also on Dalish Elf... wonder if it has to do with what character your playing..

I posted this somewhere else.. but I didn't receive the achievement until I loaded the very last auto save that allows you to go back to camp after the end of the game. Of course some people are having trouble getting that auto save also..

For me it was 96% explored. game completion score was only around 60 something I think.

I got it on my first play through as a human mage and I'm on the 360 as well. Its not broken, at least not for everyone. Either you've hit a rare glitch or you are wrong and you did miss something.

I got it on my first playthrough as a Rouge Dwarf Commoner. There's an estate that you visit if you're a rouge and you do the theft missions in Denerim maybe?

The theft missions have no bearing on the achievement. I never touched them in two playthroughs.

I got it on my first finish with mage. Didn't do the Master Ignatio line that time. Or gaxkang. Still have never gotten all loveletters. Have to be a rogue to get #12. I'm on 360 also.

Loaded a pre-Landsmeet save with my original human noble character and ran through the end game again. This time I got "traveler's" with 94% of the game world explored. As near as I can tell, it's because I went into Cyrion's house in the alienage. Seems a pointless thing to do unless you're a city elf, but it may have done the trick. (Mind you, my city elf in the 97% complete run-through popped in to talk to his dad, so I don't know why it didn't work that time).

What I DIDN'T do this time around were the sidequests for the mages, crows and interested parties. This character was a warrior, so I didn't get the rogue sidequests. I had already finished all but one of the Chantry board quests. I also didn't do the Keep DLC or any of the companion sidequests. Where people trip up may be in the cities; looks like you need to go into every single possible shack and shanty, whether you feel like your character is intruding or not.

I also have the same problem on the 360. I have looked at two different lists of where people went who got it and followed it...nothing. I went back and did last black irregulars quest at a camp...nothing. I literally did everything the strategy guide allowed...nothing. I have read 30 blogs and have not seen one place I do not vividly remember doing. This would be the third glitch this year after Prince of Persia and Borderlands..Oh well, try it again. Keep listing places though.. it may help us. I hope it is something I missed.

I have looked everywhere regarding this topic, as i have played through THOROUGHLY twice, and no achievement, whereas, i know people who have done less than me who have it - i really believe this achievement is broken. I've searched and searched and i've been to every required location and more, and no achievement... very vexing.

It's definitely broken. I did not visit every area and got the achievement. I didn't go to either Hideouts (D/K) nor did I do the ransom quest.
