Legion. He's the only squad member I wanted in Mass Effect 3 that I didn't get. Oh sure I like others, but if I can only have 1 of my choice in addition to the ones we got, Legion all the way.

In ME2 I really missed Ashley.
In ME3 I missed Mordin and Jack. Although, to be honest, I never used either of them. I constantly use Garrus and Tali. Sometimes Miranda, Samara or Zaed in ME2. But now that I've played through again, I've tried to vary more.
I just loved Mordins dialogues and Jack seems to have turned more sexy and less annoying in ME3, so having her as a permanent squaddie could've been interresting.

Wrex the most, only thing missing from a full ME1 gang back together again squad.

yeah I miss thane too. Also wished to have seen Legion and Jack more, those three are my fav characters. Felt like Liara and the VS were pushed on you in me3

Needed Legion, Miranda, maybe Jack. Poor thane though.
Needed a damn krogan. First game with no Krogan squaddie, wtf bioware.
Needed a Krogan, salarian, batarian(because thats new) Hanar(oh but the devolopers would never, because they already said why they made turians like they are, easier to keep the same movement animations for the whole team if everyone has the standard body parts and is mostly humanoid)
Oh, and needed more Legion.
