So, I ended up buying this game again since I lost my first copy ages ago. I have litterally not played this game in a couple years. I beat the game 2 times prior. Once as a bloodmage and the second time as a dw rogue. I have never played a warrior in this game however so since it has been a while and I felt the itch I bought the ultimate edition on sale via Amazon and activated it in Origin and here I am.
What I am looking for is some guidence on both DW Warrior and 2H Warrior so I can decide which one I want to play and how to build them. I have absolutely no idea how to build a character anymore in the game either so a link to a guide or instructions on what is good is a plus! Thanks in advance!
Its been a long time since playing. Need advice on 2H Warrior or DW warrior

2handers are the easiest build in the game. Just pump Strength. You can put maybe 1 or 3 points into Cunning to get max Coercion or a few points into Willpower if you've got high fatigue or want to spec Templar, but Strength is your god stat. Wear massive armor, grab a greatsword (Yusaris, Starfang, or, later in the game, the Chasind Great Maul), activate Indomitable (never toggle this off), spec Champion for War Cry knockdown, and never stop spamming talents.
Rule 1 of 2handers: auto-attack is not your friend. Rotate between Sunder Arms, Sunder Armor, Mighty Blow, and Critical Strike. The Sunder attacks are particularly nice in that they give you more than one wing.

What he said. ^^
Also, keep a mage with Haste as a permanent fixture in your party. You might also want to consider being a Dwarf and going for spell resistance gear. If you achieve 100% spell resistance then you'll be pretty much unstoppable. Beserker is your best pick for a spec.
With a DW warrior, on the other hand, you'll want to pump Dexterity mainly. Keep armour light and aim for talents such as Whirlwind and Dual Weapon Sweep. You'll be hitting hard and fast from the front (as opposed to a DW rogue who stabs from behind). You'll also want a few threat-generating talents from the Warrior trees, such as Taunt and Threaten, to keep the enemies focussed on you. Beserker and Champion are equally good choices for specs. You'll probably also find a tank is pretty redundant in your party, so consider speccing Alistair and Shale for DPS instead.
The 2Hander is more a boss killer, doing few but devastating blows, while the DW warrior is a mob killer, mowing down the trash with lots of fast attacks. Of the two I consider the first (slightly) more fun, but the second (slightly) more effective, but that's just me.

On a DW Warrior if you want to wield two full sized weapons you want a lot of stength as well as some dexterity. I forget what the mix is. I think my first DW Warrior I used two Daggars and pumped dexterity but that isn't as fun as wielding two full sized.

To be candid, 2h warriors are awful. Probably the worst build in my opinion and it was my very first build.
The problem is that they're just too slow and the active talents help but don't accomodate for the loss of speed. Indomitable is nice to have but doesn't compensate the loss of defense. You look awesome as hell swinging that sword but it's not as practical as DW. Despite the downsides, I still encourage you to go with 2h warrior simply because it is different from the first two builds you have used. You'll find DW warrior to be very similar to your DW rogue.
And perhaps I have exaggerated the flaws of 2h. While it isn't the most optimal build, it is still usable and capable of excelling at burst damage. Not to mention, it is also a lot more interesting than your standard DW warrior who uses Momentum and primarily auto attacks. Timing your swings is imperative and you may find it quite enjoyable.

Two handed Warriors are my favorite. Indomitable is one of the best talents in the game, no doubt. Defense doesn't mean much when you're laying on the ground from all the numerous ways of being knocked down in this game.
The auto attack is slower ofcourse, but you shouldn't be auto attacking as a two handed warrior. You should be using Sunder Arms and Armor which are both fast, double hits. Toss Mighty Blow into the combo and the occasional sweep when surrounded and one shouldn't be auto attacking much anymore once you reach level 10 or so. It takes a little longer than grabbing Momentum at level 3 or 4 and auto attacking your way to victory, true. Just personal preference.

Thanks for the replies everyone! 2H warrior it is! Decided since it is the most different from the characters I had before and seems to be fun.
