Crap, I played both sides tool long and now both Velan and the other representative won't let me do anything else until I speak to either the prince or Harromount. I fought the combat in Harromount's honor, but still neither will let me see the prince or lord Harromount. Do I need to reload?

If you started doing the quest lines from both sides I think it could possibly mess things up. I seem to recall seeing that mentioned before.

Each side assumes you're working for the other side and won't talk to you.

I have finished Orzammar and I still have the other guys quest saying go talk to him and do so and so. So I would guess it might be bugged more if you went further with both quests.

You have to reload, it is a known issue that if you go so far with both, neither will talk to you.

I don't know about the known issue and if this would work in case you already triggered whatever causes it.

If you talked to Bhelen's man first then with Harromount's, you can open a third quest, Switching Alliances, which will let you go all the way up to returning with a Crown from the Deep Roads before having to choose one of them to be the King.

You might try to do the quests for Bhelen since they are the same as the Lord's. Except The Proving, which you can still do as an independent adventurer, although you have dialogue options to support the prince even if you're fighting against his team and intends to support the other guy later.

My first run I had the Prince first task showing in my journal up to the end of the game, as I sided with the Lord from start and went from there... it's no big deal really and perhaps they'll fix the log in a future patch but it does not affect the game.
