lol damm man that's a pre-historic resolution, i don't have a problem with it, hunter mode consumes a lot its true but does not cause me that problem, maybe because of your hardware and resolution in-game, dunno man :/

Try changing resolution, i play 800x600 windowed and have this problem, when i change to 1024x600 windowed sometimes it helps, but strangely not on all maps, some other require 1024x768 for it to work Oo

to fix this, change to windowed screen, apply (enter in a private challenge and go out or not) and go back to full screen, this works for me
