Alright so, I downloaded Resurgence today, didnt have an issue with it there.  Loaded up the game and was met with a

"Unable to authorize the listed DLC.
Please log into the Alliance Network with the account
used to purchase the DLC.
Ressurgance Multiplayer Expasion."

I did everything I could think of.  I reinstaled the game, (and the DLC), I reinstalled orgins, Orgin, Mass Effect 3, and EA Core Server Applicatio, are all allowed access through the windows firewall.

I tried contacting Orgin help though email.  And the representative was less than helpful.  First email he gave me told me to right click and check for updates, ( i had been doing it all day to no avail), tried it again, didnt work.  He then told me to download the DLC via Bioware's social website, (wasnt listed, already tried that earlier in the day), then he sent me to http://blog.bioware....esurgence-pack/   Like reading about the DLC was going to help me at all.

I then tried live chat, and after some waiting was basically told, "The purchase is fine, and part of your account.  But you'll have to wait for an update to play".

So now I cant play the game with my friends, who im currently watching play, because I dont "have the DLC".  The DLC is "purchased" and "installed" on my orgin account.

Im also curious what the "Alliance Network" is.  Is it the screens on the right that show the galaxy map in the main menu of the game, and if so, how am I suppose to "log in" to it, so that the game can validate my DLC?

A few other threads on the front page about this issue. People have had this issue for the past three weeks and haven't had it resolved. No one knows how to fix it, and it effectively locks you out of using any online features or DLC.

Pretty cool, huh.

Yeah, it's definitely really frustrating. The EA support guy I talked to in live chat told me the Resurgence was in fact linked to my account, but the game refuses to validate it. So I really don't understand why it won't work.

But really the part that annoys me is that because of some random occurrence I am now unable to play the multi-player with my friends,

I tried askig him to remove it from my account, so that I could try to "re-purchase" it, but he pretty much told me to just wait.  Based on what i've read on the forums about people being unable to validate their collector edition online passes, I'm pretty sure im in for a long wait.

If you use FlyVPN, you can play and error message will not repeat. But in trial-mode FlyVPN work 30 minutes.
I don't have another variants, guys from online-support chat tell me "We can't help to you, use this program. Problem will be fixed".

HAHAHA I didn't see any addiotinal requirements while I was buying this game. Esspecially if the game was working just fine before this dEFFECT DLC. So I say this is their fault and it should be fixed, not bypassed.

Edit: prices of The program they recommend :
US$ 10 / Month, $ 30 / Quarter, $ 60 / Half Year, $ 120 / Year, 65 Servers, 241 USA,China,HK,Kroea,TW IPs

I try to play with this program and tell it to them.
And yep, game was working before this dlc. But not corrected. For example: in main menu i don't have point "Downloadable content".

Hey guys, This was in another thread.

"I've got this from my advisor:
#Uninstall ME3 and Origin using revo uninstaller.
# Delete ME3 and Origin folders.
# Delete your personal ME3 folder below Libraries\\Documents\\Bioware but make sure that you copy the files to another location (especially your savegames).
# Run regedit and serach for every registry entry which includes the component "mass", and delete these entries if there are related to ME3.
# Reboot the PC.
# Reinstall Origin, the update procedure should run automatically.
# And reinstall ME3 - as for Origin, let the automatic update procedure pass.
# Now you can start ME3 without DLC authorization error.
# At last, copy back your save games to the known folder.
Now i'm trying it. "

I basically followed it. I deleted ME3, Then Orgins, ( i backed up my me3 folder on my desktop), restarted computer, Reinstalled orgins, then dropped my me3 folder in to the Origin Games folder, and I was able to play.

Im kind of confused on WHY this worked, but I have been able to play the new DLC. Hopefully this will help someone.

I will try your way as soon as I get back to home so you say :
1. Back up your copy of me3 then delete it
2. Delete Origins.
3. Restart computer.
4. Reinstal Orgin.
5. Copy back me3 where it was.

You didn't use any additional programs like revo uninstaller and you didn't clear the registry.
So basically reinstalled orgin with reset between. Mass effect files was the same since you copied it back. Did you try anything else earlier?

I read that the Alliance Network is in fact this very website, the game suggests that we users have to log in forums using our originIDs and register Mass Effect 3 in profile, but apparently this has no impact on resolving the error discussed here. I got the same problem with both DLC and Online Pass. ME3 Collectors Edition. Guess the only option at the moment is complete reinstalling of origin and ME3, maybe also some registry cleaning.

Basicly all I did was back up the game. And when I uninstalled orgins and me3 I went and deleted both the origins folder and origins games folder. I didn't use any other programs. Just wiped both game and program, dropped my me3 folder back into the origins games folder and i no longer received the error when I logged in and was able to play with resurgence.

I did register my me3 on this site earlier today. Dont know if that had anything to do with it or not.

curious to see if it fixes it for me.... kinda funny and sad to see that we have to do so much to just get our damn dlc to work.... like and then "wave the dead chicken over our head, dance around computer 5 times...."
