I've looked over a few threads and it doesn't appear as though my problems match up with any others that I've seen at least.

Essentially I have some characters being uploaded with no portrait/doll or other info and some that do (however those that do are in past states as opposed to their current ones).  This is additionally strange, since I've deleted the characters on the site and they are only re-uploaded in a similar fashion.

Now I noticed when I checked some of my character files, oddly they have a portrait that doesn't match the one in-game, but does match the one on the site.

This doesn't change the fact that some characters aren't uploaded at all, but I'm wondering if there is a chance this an issue on my end.

Some weird things that may help techno savvy people immediately be able to help me out if they are so generous
  • Have Character Creator installed, now its unable to load the module. For whatever reason.
  • This seemingly occured after I tried installing the toolset along with Microsofts SQL program
  • The place I'm looking is My Documents> Bioware>Dragon Age> Characters (which seems to hold all the saves and info that gets uploaded on the site)

Any advice would be appreciated

Also I uninstalled the toolset along with Microsoft's program. If it matters I upgraded to Service Pack 3 after having played the game with Service Pack 2, I don't know if that would matter or not?

Like I said in-game is fine (aside from the stand alone Character Creator no-longer working, oddly it did work after I had installed SP3; so I'm unsure what brought its inability to load modules up) . Just the folder info and the site info is wonky.

Not sure what you mean by this. The CC can only handle characters but it should be able to re-open them (I don't know if it can open characters made in the game). There is a problem where importing characters from the CC sometimes resets the character's appearance and/or portrait. If you did this, are you sure everything looked right when you started playing?

Also, did you select a background on the portrait? I've heard whispers that might cause the portrait to not display on the website.

I don't know if this is still a problem but at least for a time the toolset could break the game. It sounds like this isn't really what happened, though? At any rate, it is strongly discouraged to run the game or toolset on XP SP2.

Ah what I meant by this is the Character Creation (stand alone that we dloaded) oddly doesn't work. I can still import characters in the game, and the in-game Character Creator works.

But the previously working standalone Character Creator now has the error "Unable to load Module" which struck me as odd.

A lot of the characters do have backgrounds, so that could theoretially be it.

edit: I reinstalled the CC and it oddly works now, it would ironic if this positively influences uploads..I doubt it -though strange things happen.
