Does the Disciple have some kind of force effect or something? I pulled a cerbie out of cover and then blasted him with it, and he went FLYING away. Haven't really looked studiously at other foes, but it seems that foes get knockback effects on them too after taking a blast from the Disciple.
Am I just seeing things, or does it really kick them as well as shred them?
Disciple Knockback?

It kicks them, definitely. I've shot enemies and watched them fly in the air then skid on the floor.

What happens to foes that survive one blast? Do they gets stunned?

Yeah, they stagger for a moment. One nice thing it has going for it is that it does this with every shot.
