Well... you can sleep with her.

First time she flirted with me, instantly kicked her off the ship.

That comment made me laugh out loud.

(I have no idea of where this character comes from, other than that I think it is from some celebrity, so no offense to that celebrity, if so)

edit: Sorry for going off topic. Actually, I was wondering the same as you, Joeybsmooth4, when I played the game.

Nope. She's an IGN ad. A paid review score.

I've seen it. It pissed me off quite badly. However, seeing as it isn't in game I don't take it as canon.

It was a good "twitter death".

I think BioWare made a mistake painting journalists as people who don't mind being in bed with people they're supposed to be objective about.

You should have made Allers have some journalistic integrity , BioWare , especially when the person Voice acting her is a reporter. Real reporters remain objective about the people they're interviewing.

I think it was a cheap addition to an otherwise okay character. It objectified her and we've had enough objectification of women with the cameltoe artistic integrity.

Thank you, ticklefist and Aznable Char, for clarifying to me (a Swede, who has no clue) :-)

No, she is IGN's payoff for their corrupt journalistic standards and continued support of EA.

I don't know the specifics, but the above would not surprise me. The presence of jessica still feels completely out-of-place in ME3. It doesn't help that she's dressed in a one-piece bathing suit, has voicing that hardly adds much to what you already know, and has one of the worst 'romances' I've seen in a BioWare game. That includes jacob. She feels like a free DLC character added in.

She is a complete waste of space aboard the Normandy. Takes up a character slot that could have been used for an actual good character.

They killed her shuttle.

Emily could easily be discovered alive and well on Earth. And she would take Diana Allers down.

the only reason i can think of is she was probably bedding a bioware dev, i cant think why they would have her at all unless there was an alterior motive and thats the only one i =can think of

Actually, she is the Catalyst :)

That would be amazing if the extended ending replaced star child with Allers.  I can just see the look on shep's face...

No, she's utterly useless aside from some war assets and reputation checks. The reason she's listed before the other characters in the credits is because of that all important IGN review that is the only thing that matters forever.

Considering she's played by an IGN employee, this was basically an attempt to get a good review ('see, Bioware is awesome and stuff, they put our reporter in their game and stuff').

Lol. It amazes me that IGN can still claim to be an impartial review service. I stopped going there LOOOOONG ago.

And the fact that BW made allers a real face moddel and Tali a stock photo image, shows that they;re more interested in selling games than making them.

QFT  it's a comjplete p""" take to fans that they did this, IGN is obviously more importantr that Tali fans, and characters of lore. i think its disgusting and should at least be allowed to eject her through an airlock into deep space. bioware ign brown nosers, a terrible crime has been commited here

You get War Assets for initially inviting her aboard, then she gives you a couple of interviews; one regarding the Genophage Cure for the Krogans and another discussing Cerberus I think (Don't remember the second one). Depending on how you answer these, you can get a very small addition to your War Assets for the group you discuss.

After the second interview you have the option to have sex with her and begin a relationship with her if you want.
In her dress, she has the best human body on the ship, but I stuck to Liara in my current playthrough and Ash on the previous

You realise the credits were listed in alphabetical order based on their character's surname right?

Other than a war asset, she pretty worthless unless you actually like talking to or romancing her.

All she does is offer you a few war assets through interviews. However she doesn't offer enough to make her a major character in my opinion.
