So I love CC, and I love my mage, but I'm also a melee'r at heart and am thinking of running a rogue and going heavy on the traps.

Has anyone done a trap-focused build? How viable is it long term, how likely am I to run out of supplies at the worst moment?

In my mind, I'm secretly giggling about the idea of grease traps and my mage's fireball.

traps are nice, but i rather use the glyph spells since normal traps require more time to get put down and to activate, witch requires u retreat the enemy's in the traps, witch is handy, but it takes more time to set up that kind of thing and only applies to non-boss fights, witch makes it quite useless. not to mention the friendly fire u will no doubt suffer from your own traps...
and about supplies, u'll find plenty(assmung u got cash to get the trap plans first) but i'd rather use them to make throwning flasks with piosonmaking, since aside from the trap triggers and metal scraps are the same raegents..

And if u want to melee much also, just make a AW/BM mage with glyph spells, its about the same idea and works more effective. check out my female mage if u want to get an idea about it.

PS did u know that glyph spells also count as traps towards your archievments? weird but true.Image IPB

I started a trap build, rogue with heavy stelth and traping.. at L7 no melee talents taken yet. It starts nice, fun to play, build your going to notice that 25% loss of combat power. Right now I'm too poor to carry tons and tons of traps, and my team is too weak in most combat (V1.00... witht the patchs perhaps its fine now).
