So a few days ago, I made a topic about losing my level progress and gaining negative skill points after a gold match. Things have gotten progressively worse. The sound effects sound canned while shots fired sound incredibly loud, most salarian infiltrators don't have textures on their weapons (they're just flat gray), medi-gels are usually disabled, on the results page, "+0" flashes on the screen in place of what awards i've won, and if i'm lucky to actually make it to into a game, it typically freezes during an objective wave.

I've also noticed a surprising number of dropped hosts while I'm playing (something that never used to happen to me).

I'm N7 720. For the most part, I've never had any of these issues until a few days ago, after that gold match. Now things have gone FUBAR. I've spoken to EA (they said things will be resolved in due time) and PM-ed all of the Bioware staff, but nobody is getting back to me. I'm not looking for instant resolution, I just want some suggestions on how to fix this.

So questions.

Is it my PS3's cache?
Is it my connection?*
Should I delete my saved data and reinstall? 

* I've tried resetting the router, and my connection seems kosher.

i haven't seen any rules against bumping/double posting, so here goes.

i restored the file system on my PS3 and reset my router again, which seems to have eliminated some of the weirdness. however when i was back in the lobby, i used the directional pad to check my squad's loadouts, and wasn't able to return to the menu. in the following match, my character died, and froze standing up with his arms outstretched, in a stationary position. over the mic, a user claimed his medi-gels weren't working, and i noticed somebody's gun froze with the firing graphics.

aside from these though, it went pretty smoothly.

do any staff read these posts?

Tbh the game seems fairly broken all round at the moment, some of us can't even load the game past the main menu :( All I can suggest is keep trying EA customer support and hope eventually you'll get someone who can help you.

maybe tech support needs a bigger budget or something. i just spoke to another EA bot advisor and it was just more of the same. people are using the provided channels to address their technical concerns but nobody seems receptive to them. i understand that the number of reported bugs and glitches exceeds their availablity, and that people could make listening to our complaints a full time job.

at the same time, many of us just need validation... or somebody to say, "we've logged this and we're in the process of looking into it. please be aware these things take time, and here some suggestions that may help, etc. etc."

it's a little disillusioning, i guess.
