Am I the only person hoping Dragon Age doesn't go in the way of a trilogy route like Mass Effect did?
A lot of people seem to be thinking that somehow DA3 will "conclude" the DA universe in some final story with The Warden and Hawke. I dont think that would be a good idea. I see DA as more of a Warhammer setting where different stories can be told throughout one massive interconnected fantasy setting. There might be a vague overarching plot (Archedemons, the Awakening of Darkspawn, Flemeth etc.) but I don't see it as an epic trilogy like Mass Effect was.
If Bioware was to produce and market DA3 as the end to the Dragon Age trilogy, what would you think of it?
DA3 as the end to a trilogy.

We're not planning Dragon Age as a trilogy. That is to say - there might be three games that form a sort-of trilogy, but we've never thought of in terms of 'these three games form a self-contained plot and story arc'. Certainly, there'll be some plot threads that follow this sort of arc, but we're not planning around three games.
