I hear they are tough in water but on land? I guess they could use their bioluminescence to confuse you.

It's not that I feel they are overused, I think they are great additions to any team. But to be honest a well placed decoy will stop an army, I just propose the boss makes it so that you must work together a little more (kinda like a banshee) and be a force to be reckoned with, not a "Get over here toss a decoy and nuke it" scenario.

I originally thought of the randomly occuring event, kinda like a weekend thing, or even a timed thing, but in the fairness of gameplay everyone should be eligible as long as you try, isn't there enough randomness already =)
Also with the vote to engage it, it makes sense however; if you are playing Gold I don't think there should be an option to run, lets face it its not an option.

I vote for a Reaper. We can only damage it with our nukes while it's aiming its death laser at us, and one hit = executed.
No, I'm not serious, though that would be an epic battle. Even better if it was Harby.

My examples were just that, I was pretty tired when I wrote them tbh. The bosses don't necessarily need to be story driven but maybe they could be called "Generals" or "Leutenants" or something to that effect as technically we are fighting at the warfronts of each area. It would kind of make sense that there would be some type of leader present or a "Hero" type leading that system or map?

Reapers -> Harvester supported by reaper forces it drops off as it flies around
Geth -> Geth Colossus supported by a squad of 2 primes that re-spawn as they are destroyed
What other bosses can we think of for what side?

When it comes to Reaper bosses, I guess any life form can be "reaperfied" and introduced. Personally I'd love to see what happens when one of those Tuchanka dino-beasts gets turned into a reaper minion.
Cerberus Bosses: Gunships, bigger mechs, maybe an armored vehicle like the mako.
Geth: Armature, colossus, Geth snipers are all great contenders here.

You could have a buffed Harvester for Reapers, or a buffed Praetorian.

So, for Reapers, a Harbinger-controlled Husk-type, very tough and fast, dangerous both at range and up-close. Barrier/Health.
For Cerberus, Kai Leng. Basically a Super-Phantom. No cloak, but an impenetrable shield like he uses in the campaign. Sheild/Health For lore reasons, maybe have him just bail out when on low HP rather than die.
For the geth, I don't see much anything else than a Armature. Old news, Shield/Armor, very heavy ranged firepower.

Edit: P.S. Also, instead of having comms saying "Head to the LZ for extraction" at wave 11, at the start of wave 12, he says "Enemies approaching. Hold the line!". Then when the team gets pummeled to hell and back the track "An End Once and for All" plays in the background.
