The team is extracted after wave 11, so the boss would just stand there all lonely and stuff...

I think as I stated earlier, this should only happen on gold, and essentially think of it like you plan to extract then out of nowhere a boss comes out, destroys the first shuttle and engages, it will take 5:00min for another shuttle to be sent out, you have 2 options, survive and extract, or attempt to kill the boss for extra credits.
That's my vision, and not to say you are wrong, but I think the option to run should not be there.

Yeah I hear you but its not really the case, not alot of debate on the topic so its never on top of the first page, the idea of keeping it there would require alot of bumps, I try to do it every few hours, but if no one posts in 10 mins or so its back to the 3rd page. My persistance is because I believe in the idea, and rather than pushing to change the game, I would rather add on to it benefiting both sides the producer and the consumer.

I like te idea. I want to see different game modes to keep things fresh so a boss fight would be welcome.
A harvester is awesome. An armature is great too. When/if thu giveys the collector enemies we could fight a praetorian.
They need to come up with something though because I starting to tire of the same enemies. Same missions.

If you kill him / her / it / them you get extra credits, if not, then it's just a normal extraction.
The bosses should be something like:
Cerberus: An elite operative squad, maybe 4-5 enemies with Cerberus weapons we all got to use i ME2 (ARC projector would be really nice, it'd force the players to stand away from each other, making it harder to stay inside the extraction circle), they can place down turrets and shield pylons (like in Singleplayer), and have high amount of shield & health. They will also attempt to dodge every biotic / tech attack (the ones that can be dodged, at least). The squad composition would be something like:
1 engineer (constantly repairs the turrets/ shield pylons, and uses the combat drone wich explodes upon destruction)
1 vanguard / phantom combo (uses biotic charge to close in and proceed to instant kill anyone who is unlucky enough)
1 weapon specialist (uses the ARC projector, for example)
1 sniper (Instant incapacitation, maybe?)
1 YMIR mech or a modified Atlas
Haven't really thought about the geth or Reapers... Maybe depending on the map we could have those big bird things?
