Possible Wave 12? Boss fights!

Okay, you earned a real comment. I think the idea is not a very good one. A mission is long enough without one more wave. Your idea may be plausible as a new type of objective in addition to the already existing ones. However, if you have mega-enemies like for example the harvester, you are going to lose balance real fast. If you have a very strong enemy, you can't have mooks running around for everyone to do something. But then you'll have one single enemy that everyone targets, which is major overkill and totally pointless. If you have mooks, it's the same as what we have with the banshees, primes, phantoms etc. So what is the point of a new one? If you have no mooks and two mega, if they are not strong enough to wipe out the team, it is again pointless. If they are strong enough, then there is no point again...

The enemies you guys keep bringing up could possibly function as substitutes for the current biggies.

I just think it would be cool if they did something creative on a wave by wave basis. case in point, I just got done playing Gears 3 a little while ago, and they've changed up the waves this weekend to where you're getting Bosses earlier in the waves, and in greater numbers.

It would be cool to have a waves where you face off against nothing but Atlases or Brutes. and if they put them on objective waves, you'd get more credits than normal for having to deal with the extra challenge. Imagine six or seven Brutes, Atlases, or Banshees on the map at one time, only to be joined by more as you kill them.

Keep in mind, im talking about waves of only those tough boss types, not a mixture.

In-game votes always fail - ppl afk or just griefing or just cba to click. So either do it or don't.
Bronze = No
Silver = 50% chance of a boss appearing (Either boss or extraction)
Gold = 100% chance of boss appereance instead of extraction.

Probably wont happen but I think there should be 12 waves anyways. Objective waves being 3,6,9,12. Only difference is wave 12 with 5 Min timer to do an objective then extract all on the same wave. Also you shouldnt get the same objective twice, it should randomize but allow you to do all for a match.

Cerberus Force
-Kai Leng/ Phantom Supreme

Reapers Force
-Scions
-Praetorian
-Replace Husk with Abomination


Geth Force
-Replace the regular trooper with Shock Troopers
-Geth Destroyers
-Geth Juggernauts
-Geth Armature (having hard time really seeing this guy move around)


The normal enemies for all opposing force can still come.

This contains some story spoilers so I'd advise not reading if you've not finished it yet.

I'd like to see something like this actually. Reapers could have Harvesters or maybe even a full blown Reaper similar to Rannoch with some heavy weapons conveniently placed around the place. This obviously wouldn't work on any of the maps but maybe it could be something that happens on the way back from extraction? So the shuttle stops so you can fight the Reaper?

Geth could make use of the Geth Colossus but it's not really on the same scale as a Reaper. They could always just send a lot of them at you though.

As for Cerberus I can't really think of any other enemy they could except for maybe a Kai Leng clone as mentioned in some posts. It'd be really similar to the Phantoms though. The only other option would be to send exactly one thousand robot dogs against you.

play against reaper on gold. You'll see brutes/banshees every corner of the map and there's nowhere to hide.

 It'd be really cool if 1/20 times there was a boss fight....and it's simply based on the team's overall pacing/score. If they perform well enough, the chance that a boss will appear would be so awesome! Whether it's a reaper or whatnot...it'd definitely be really epic. Cue the Mass Effect 3 music!
