Same here, on my 3rd try. It keeps freezing at the main menu. Thanks Bioware!

Things aren't working for me either. This is unacceptable, first we can't import our Shepards properly and now I can't even play the game because it gets frozen, even Bethesda doesn't screw up this bad and they suck at patching.

Yep. I have the same problem. Freezes shortly after it says 'Connecting to EA Servers'.

I've tried both discs: no difference.

I am also having this issue, 6 freezes so far. I am *not* happy about this. Ugh, now the forum is glitching on me.

It's pretty sad that there have been so many huge mistakes.  I wish ME3 had come out next year...

When will Bioware make a release that isn't teeming with glitches?

They should channel some of their energy out from their artistic integrity and get a damn testing team.

6 freezes in a row and counting. Have had Disc 1 in the entire time and already cleared cache.
Connecting to EA Servers.......freeze. Frustrating...especially when at least one of my friends had no issues with the patch and was able to play right away.

Perhaps they did so, but the only energy channeled was from the team that designed the ending.

Same thing, game freezes on "connecting to EA servers". Worked immediately after patch then after an hour or so, my multiplayer froze. On reboot couldn't get past "connecting to EA servers". Five reboots, same results. Time to play something else for a few weeks. Get your act together guys. You would think you would try a bit harder after releasing that crappy ending and poor communication. And what the hell, may as well pile on - where is my reward pack for Raptor?

if you are just looking to play SP (me) just clear cache and skip the patch

if you get any achievements, next time your on the dashboard they sync, guess im playing offline for now

They are goofs.  If you can infer anything from how they are handling the Raptor reward pack, I would guess they will have a buggy patch in a few weeks.  I didn't think it would be time to move on to other games so soon.

im glad im not the only one having this issue. i recently had to buy a new xbox because of disk tray problems. im REALLY hoping bioware fixes this soon. already tweeted @masseffect/bioware. can anyone else help going through the proper channels?

I've now read the three pages here and, seem to be having no luck. everything I try ends up with the same result. I should stop acting insane thinking I'm going to get a different result the next time I restart my Xbox and try to play a multiplayer match. Then again we al have a little crazy in us.....Some more than others, it builds character you know.
