Same issue. Tried all the fixes posted here. Nothing works, not even 6 beers. EA consistently hates me and keeps locking my console.
Is this a preview of the new endings? ME3 was all a dream & the only real thing is EA constantly trying to validate a console it just crashed?
I hate to go for cheapshots but I´m ultra frustrated. I had a coop round scheduled today with some friends. After I spent a week trying to convince them to buy ME3 and join me in its awesome coop-MP.

Count me among the ones that are having their system freeze when it tries to connect to the EA servers on the main menu.
My friend urged me to download it so we could play. He is having no issue, but it has froze up my system four times in a row now. I tries switching to disc 2, but that did not help.
I'm going to delete and redownload the Resurgence pack, and then clear the system cache and redownload the update too to see if that helps at all.
