Tried switching disks tried clearing Xbox cache and redownloading patch it still crashes at same place connecting to EA servers on main menu.

Put me on the list as well. It worked last night after I updated and downloaded the DLC.... And then today... It freezes on "Connecting to EA Servers". This is seriously cramping my style. I know it's not my Xbox because my other games are working fine on it. And I know it's not my discs because I've switched back and forth from disc and neither of 'em gets me past that. If I don't connect to the internet or don't try playing Multiplayer, it doesn't have the issue. But as SOON as it tries to connect the servers... Freeze.

Same problem, "connecting to EA servers"......then it freezes. I have tried about 4 times and it still freezes. They better get a patch out quick to fix this problem.

Ya, this just started happening to me now too. It was working fine before. LoL wow, im mean they they have released some bad patches before, but this is something else.

Friend and I have the same issue. As said before, it gets to the "Connecting to EA Servers" screen and my 360 locks up.

And apparently the fixes are hit or miss too. That stinks.

Yep. I have the same problem. Freezes shortly after it says 'Connecting to EA Servers'.

I've tried both discs: no difference.

Ok I tried another Xbox in same house with different disks and origin Ids same problem crash at connecting to E A server at the start. Seriously what the hell.

Same issue. Some kind of response would be nice I waited to start the single player until they got the ME1>ME2>ME3 character importer corrected. Now I can't play. I guess the bright side is that I have no single player data to loose; however, I am worried about my multiplayer especially since I still haven't received my victory or commendation packs. Which are listed in my registered content with an expiry of 04/10/12.

I'm having the same problem as well though it was actually working for me earlier today when I first downloaded the patch because I was able to play some multiplayer for a while but I decided to go back to playing Kingdoms of Amalur for a while and when I put ME3 back in it freezes when "Connecting to EA Servers..." no matter how many times I restart my system and clear the cache if I dl the patch it freezes again.

Add me to the list. Five straight tries and the Xbox 360 is doing a hard-freeze at the "Connecting to EA Servers" screen. I had my game saved during the last mission (defending the missile tanks). Really hope this doesn't compromise my save file. 50+ hours on Insanity. My first playthrough. Was really looking forward to finishing the game tonight.

I have trust in you lot over at Bioware. Love the game and series. For the programmers having to work late tonight to fix this, the players thank you.

Also experiencing this problem, the game crashes at the main menu while "Connecting to EA Servers". I can still start up the game and play single-player normally when offline, but single-player isn't what I want to do right this minute.

I just started doing that for me as well, I tried both discs and it still freezes at "Connecting to EA Servers". How is it that bioware fixes one issue only to create another one???

It's one thing to have a bug in your game but to make it UNPLAYABLE!!   UNACCEPTABLE BIOWARE!!!!

I seem to be having the same issue here. Attempted with both disks, cleared the cache both times. And neither worked.
Just tested the third and fourth time, and still no dice.
What is going on here?
Xbox 360 vers: Slim (the shiney black one that you get the Kinect with)
Country: Canada.

Whats more shocking about this, is that we still haven't gotten a response yet on this thread... :/

Same issue with me, crashes on Communicating with EA server with either disk. Guys, maybe we should be putting some details down so we can see if it is every Xbox player or just specific ones.

Lousiana, United States
Xbox 360 Elite (the black one with 120 GB hard drive)
Mass Effect 3 Collectors Edition
From Ashes DLC
M55 Argus DLC
Resurgance Pack installed
Only crashes after patch (disks 1 and 2)

This is ridiculous, between this, the mess up with the Resurgance packs yesterday, the lack of a specific DLC pack until next week, Bioware is making it very difficult to maintain this customer. Please PM me if there is any information you need about my system, playing habits or whatever to fix this game BREAKING patch.

Mine froze the first time after downloading the patch, but then worked immediately after restarting and then again later in the day. Now it won't work at all. I'm using the 360 slim if that makes a difference and the collector's edition of the game. Tried both discs and still having problems.

I am also having this issue. Clearing cache and interchanging disks did not work.
