Not only does it hurts the eyes. The stupid symbols actually distract me from seeing objectives. I thought it was supposed to be "enhanced" vision, not handicapped vision.

Screen clutter on the top left, top right and bottom right corners along with triangle/reticule in center and enemies in range appearing as red is OK for balance purposes. It makes finding objectives a bit hard. Blur and extra extra brightness (like soldier adrenaline mode) is what causes headache/eye strain for most people and should be removed.

Signed. Really hurts my eyes after some time...like getting my retina peeled of.

I'm happy with a hack or user mod to remove the blur effects. What was bioware thinking!? The graphic is just stupid.

Wish there is a setting so you can tone down Geth Hunter Mode, Krogran Rage, and bloody border when you are about to die.

I demand a red/blue/green toggle for hunter mode.
Of course, in actuality it's just the same thing.

I hope they really take a look at this.
Reducing the brightness to -2 helps a lot on xbox, but don't completely remove the eye strain.
I like the symbols though. Idk if it's the symbols or the brightness or the blur or maybe something else that cause the eye's to geth strained.

i agree that the visual effect is unpleasant and annoying.
the buffs, shield loss and red enemies are a great, creative and balanced combination. it does not need the blur, brightness or symbols. i really like the idea, but all of it- especially including the symbols- makes it much harder to see.
all the visual effects make it harder for me to see, and i'd like to be able to turn them off. the blood-dimmed vision at least makes sense that it gets harder, i'm almost dead. anything that is beneficial however, krogan rage, adrenaline rush or hunter mode, shouldn't make it harder to see enemies and obstacles. (the omni-button makes successful navigation hard enough)
if they want a visual effect, i suggest making only the enemies red and/or brighter, with the geth able to see this through walls and smoke. that would be harmless and possibly actually helpful- which is how a buff is supposed to be.

I find it okay, but I have noticed that my eyes don't like it when I first turn it on after playing other classes like its a sudden shock. Once im using it, its okay.
Perhaps a drop in gamma is all thats really needed. Its not the blur or colours, its the sudden increase in brightness. Its the same reason you turn down loud headphones, too excess is damaging.

THIS HURTS YOU.
Seriously though, it's not the brightness that's the problem for me. It's all the visual effects. Bit annoying that I've been playing video games since the age of 4 with never a problem like this, and now I can't last more than 2 matches with the Geth before I have to stop <_<

Hunter mode is a real eye strain, and one good way to damage your eyes, well at least with any prolong use
I certainly hope Bioware does something about it. It'd probably be fine if they just toned down the effect. I'm guessing nobody told whoever is responsible for this effect, that there's this thing called Ergonomics.

I've been hearing about this for some time but just recently got a Geth and thought "how bad can hunter mode be?" Well to tell the truth its bad within a minute or two of having it active I felt sick...they need to change it.

As a veteran gamer my eyes are so utterly buggered it doesn't even bother me. I can, however, see how it would be annoying to people who haven't built up an immunity to eye-strain though. It'd be nice if they just toned down the weird brightness effect.

After playing all night with hunter mode i was woken this morning at 7am with a major headache.
It might not have been HM that caused it but my eyes did hurt at the end of play.
Keep the triangle and lose the rest.

Doesn't bother me but I do turn it off between waves.
I don't think it should be changed though. The pros easily outweigh the cons in my book.

Hey people read the first post. We want it fixed and tweaked not removed. Obviously its causing eye strains and headaches. Dont remove the ability just tweak it. Keep the red enemies and a little symbols , but remove the blur and the double vision effects.

I toned the brightness down to -5, it still hurts my eyes a bit especially at daylight maps like dagger. Hope they lessen the brightness of the hunter mode.

Lots of sensitive eyes ITT. Doesn't bother me at all. I don't even know what the hell's bothering all of you. The big triangle in the middle doesn't bother me. The only thing that takes getting used to is the objective markers in the corners of the screen.
