Turning your brightness down works, right till you turn hunter mode off and then game is too dark. It doesn't hurt my eyes, but by gezzz it's a pain in the butt. Please fix this bioware, along with the stupid god space bar.

While this doesn't affect me much, you guys have my sympathies.

Really hope they can get this fixed.

Agree. It gives me headaches. I wonder if it affects PC players more since we sit closer to our screens.

No problems here. Don't change a thing, Bio.

This thread is for people who are having issues with it or wish to support it. Not people who don't.

Did you not read the first post of the Thread?

If you people dont have problems just dont post. But
reading the full thread shows that the Hunter Mode is giving headache a
lot of people.

See, this kind of mindblowingly self-centeredness pisses me off to no end.  "It's fine for me, so just ignore the legions (pun intended) of people complaining about it causing them real life pain.  They don't matter.  Only I matter."

I have played a total of 4-5 matches with my geth engineer so far (playing on ps3), 2 last night and 2-3 tuesday night. I have hunter mode on all the time. Tuesday night it felt like it strained my eyes a bit, but last night it wasn't that bad. I think it depends a bit on the map.
The only time I've ever had any trouble is when I've been playing a few hours while being way too tired, but this wasn't the case this time.
I'll try it some more and see if I can find if it really depends on what map I'm playing.

Last time I checked this is a public forum and as long as people aren't posting too harshly they're allowed to post their opinion despite being contray to yours and in whatever thread they want. If we can't have discourse over a issue then a public forum becomes a rather moot point.

I think people should be posting what platform this affects them on since bioware is aware of the thread despite having not posted in it yet

Signed. I just started using Hunter Mode for my geth engineer. I can game all day with the best of them, but a few matches with Hunter Mode engaged about 50% of the time, and I start feeling the headache.

It doesn't bother me, I keep it on from beginning to end with my Engineer, makes me feel like a geth. :)

It's bright as **** and we can't see the objective markers.

At least allow us to turn down the bloom a few notches.

Find them too distracting, interferes with highlighted objectives

Normally I'd agree. But not on this issue. There's no reason to say what he said beyond "ME ME ME ME ME ME!" A ton of people are experiencing real life pain as a result of a very poorly designed graphic. This isn't a balance issue where you can argue the pro's and con's. This is simply broken and should be fixed ASAP.

Public forum? That is correct. And I do believe the owner of the thread requested that those who do not have words of agreement or support should not waste their time posting. Why? Because saying "it's fine for me" doesn't support and tends to lean on the side of "Oh stop whining about it and deal with it". It's also a petition. A petition is a list of like-minded individuals or supporters. If you're not supporting or in agreement, why would you post on a petition FOR fixing the Geth Hunter Mode?

There are many people who believe there is no issue but are still supporting it for those that are having issues with it. That is a mighty fine way to go about it. Thinking of others while including yourself. That is constructive. Thinking of only yourself and not caring about others is not constructive or supportive.

Remember, this is a petition to make a change. If you don't support a petition, you simply don't sign it. No need for negative feedback on it.

/Agreed.

With the brightness cranked up by the ability, it's hard to see anything, even the red highlights of where my enemies are...

Turned the brightness down like recommended and it doesn't fix a thing. Strains the eyes something bad with it on. Which is sad, because I've enjoyed the times I've taken the Geth out for a spin.

The brightness is a non issue for me, but I do concur regarding objective markers.

Error 404: This Unit cannot find the objective

Agreed.  I was so excited to get to play a geth.  Legion is probably my favorite character.  But their hallmark ability, which I might add is absolutely awesome, is virtually unusable for me.  Sucks.  Turning the brightness down does help for me, but it's just a band-aid.  This is a serious issue that needs fixing.

Extremely unpleasant. Please adjust this. I can't find markers/waypoints easily, and it's even more difficult to tell the difference between a 'Stasis Bubble' AoE and LZ at some points.

I adjusted my display settings somewhat here, and it was a little better, but still disorienting and dizzying in a large display format.

Don`t have a problem with it, but finding objectives is a pain in the arse

Wish it changed to something less intrusive aswell

It's definitely the blur effect at the side of the screen. It makes the FOV appear lower than it is and it's already too low to begin with.

I'm shocked no one at BioWare QA had this problem.

Which means I suspect someone did but whomever was in charge of testing decided that causing eye strain and migraines in the players was fine.

It hurts my eyes and adjusting the brightness does nothing. It's probably that ridiculous blur effect.

I say a good compromise would be keeping ALL the symbols, adjusting their size a bit and taking out this whole blur/ligthning/whatever effect that gives so much people literally a headache.
