it's handy for the reactor map, as that's too dark by default, but for everywhere else it ups the brightness too far, also agree that it makes seeing the objectives arrow harder to find.

I'd say "change" rather than "fix". It isn't broken, just annoying.
I could live with either the screen distortion effects, or the "hud overlay" effects, but both together is just too much. I find this ability only makes it harder to see things going on with all the visual information splattered across the screen.

I agree. The Hunter mode is far too bright, & I can only use it for a handful of seconds at a time.
IDK if its related, but my friend had to quit out with a migrane shortly after unlocking the Geth Engineer and using the Hunter Mode ability. Ill get him to post.

It is quite painful to look at, I used a respec card and took everything out of hunter mode. now my Geth, Geth, is rocking maxed overload and turret

Hunter Mode really doesn't need such heavy special effects. None of sustainable modes, like Tech Armour, get anything like HM; only the 'temporary' modes like mentioned Krogan Rage do.
I think the blur should be removed completely. Keep the symbols close to the corners of FOV, but, please, for God's sake, get rid of the blur; it's terrible to go through the whole match with this kind of mess on-screen

It doesnt bother me too much. I wouldn't mind it being toned back a bit. I would also think about a way to make the graphical overlay of hunter mode functional as well.

The blur and the brightness are the two problems I have with the hunter mode. When the objective waves come, I turn off HM so I can see where the objective marker is, and then I turn it on again...

I wish people would stop using "fix" and "change" interchangeably. The two words do not mean the same thing and frankly it's insulting to ask Bioware to "fix" something that is working as intended.
If hunter mode hurts your eyes and you would like it to be changed, that's a perfectly valid request. Claiming hunter mode is broken and needs to be "fixed" because it hurts your eyes creates a confrontation when there doesn't need to be any. As it is right now, hunter mode is not 'broken". It is working as intended.
I agree that it is hard on the eyes and would like to see the graphics on that ability toned down a bit.

yeah maybe for very long periods but honestly you will get used to it. I have and the only thing that sometimes bothers me is trying to quickly find where the next objective is/

Yeah, beyond the blur and the way over the top triangle overlays, it also applies a screen flicker effect that is definitely headache inducing...

I don't understand you people. Are you blind ? Or you even don't turn HM on ? It obviusly flickers the screen badly, 2/3 of the screen in is with symbols AvP style and the damn Blur. I don't sense anything 'fine' in it. Keep the thread alive. And BioWare if you reading it : At Least remove the screen split/flicker and blur. Symbols infact are badass.

It's incredibly annoying to use, especially for the small bonus. I re-spec'd both of my Geth characters to have 0 points in it until they change the graphics.

Co-signed, just tried it out and as much as I love the class... Man I had to stop after 1 match due to the eye strain and I sit FAR from the screen.
