You take a hit with the shields when you use HM. That's not a power up in most peoples book.

Ahhh I see just got the game yesterday and pretty new to this, thanks for correcting me though but even with Hunter Mode enemies should be falling before they're able to get a good hit in. Cloak + Proximity Mine (with 20% increased damage after explosion perk) is a deadly combination alone, follow it up with normal gunfire and you do some serious damage. Also about the credit thing.....it's a glitch? O_o thx for heads up
EDIT: found out what you were talking about and no I am not having an issue with a Credit Glitch, it's simple disconnections from EA servers. When you disconnect Mid-Game in waves 7-9 you don't get any credits or experience afterwards.

Has anyone tested modifying glowculldistanceoffset, or checked to see if there's possibly a relevant shader file for supercharge/Hunter Mode? I always see this thread and ignore it, but being at 31 pages and showing no signs of a workaround/fix in progress, I figured I'd try to help. Edit: Apparently I was remembering glowculldistanceoffset's value wrong, but it's still a possibility. Also, I imagine clarifying the vision of supercharge could be construed as gaining an "unfair advantage" possibly, so perhaps consider consulting a dev to make sure you won't run the risk of getting banned for modifying it :\\

The Geth Infiltrator has become my favourite class and I also enjoy the Engineer.
The migraine issue hasn't stopped me from playing them, but it has got to the point that I automatically pop 3 ultra strength Tylanol before I start playing just to ease things.
Even then, I have to take regular breaks.
The melee Geth Infiltrator is seriously the most fun I've had in multiplayer, and right now I'm suffering through it... but we'll see how much longer I can take it.
My recommendations (all IMHO of course):
-Lower the contrast (close to normal)
-Lower the brightness (can still be a bit higher, but nothing so extreme as it is now)
-Lose the blur, please please please!
-Lose the fancy 'Geth Code' HUD symbols on the screen, or else shrink them and put them farther to the side. Also make them more transparent so I can see things through them easily.
Pretty please?

* That's the one that kills my eyes. Not sure if it's because of a large monitor or what, but I can tell when I'm trying (in vain) to focus on something that is permanently out of focus. I can live with the higher contrast and brightness but that one...ugh, that one sucks the most for me.

Acetominophen/Paracetamol doesn't help against migraines. Plus 1500mg at once isn't a healthy or recommended dosage. Don't trash your liver for a game.

I know next to nothing of eyes/eyesight beyond emergency care, so I was just hoping to get an understanding of the source of the problem, so that we can determine the best solution(s) and make an unofficial "fix" to help those suffering from problems. While, of course, keeping as true to the original design/intent as possible, to prevent any "unfair advantage", and hopefully get dev approval to make sure nobody is at risk for bans as a result of modifying the skill.
To my uneducated self, it seems somewhat similar to the effects of a person with bad/blurry vision needing correction and getting headaches, or a person with good vision wearing someone's glasses for more than a few minutes (and getting a headache or pain/discomfort), or trying to view at a distance while wearing reading glasses, or something along those lines. Is it just a focal problem, or something more complex/complicated?
*sits and waits for a passing ophthalmologist/optometrist/student to happen to read this and bother responding*
