Hunter mode doesn't hurt my eyes nearly as much as Rage and Marksman modes do.

What does bother me about Hunter mode is it can sometimes take ages to find the objective marker.

Can we get a bump for this thread so BioWare actually remember this problem?

It does not hurt my eyes, but sometimes i cant see the objective. I noticed that it gets a LITTLE blurry to if you look closely.

HM HUD is distorted just as much as enemies are highlighted red with wall hacking powers (Tact. Scan).

Bioware is aware of the impact of subtle visual effects for the player. Personally, I feel a target is easier to hit or even line up a shot for--better if done before rounding the corner to confront the enemy--when they're highlighted red.

^This in mind, I think the HM HUD was intentionally distorted to make up for the OP-like nature of HM...

No headaches here, but I wouldn't mind the brightness to be a little less and the angular images overlaid to be less intrusive. I often have difficulty to find the 'next objective' or 'final enemy' pointers. What good is an Infiltrator wandering around looking for the next objective? That can hardly be the intention. And if other people do get headaches, then I for one would like to help them.

Also, the arrows pointing to the current objective get lost in the current graphic.

Signed (again?). Anyway, the graphic overlay is just silly. It doesnt even do anything. What, the geth just overlay random shapes over their own vision?

Signed. Yes, hurting eyes and also obscure objective indicators.

 Signed.

It doesn't really hurt my eyes as much as the default brightness of the power itself can be a bit overwhelming in maps (Goddess, Jade, Ghost) that have a lot of bright lighting, making it hard to make out things at a distance.

If they'd just removed the brightness effect, it'd be fine.

I'll lend my voice to the throng. It hurts. On top of that, my xbox tends to randomly crash when I'm in hunter mode. It doesn't do this in ME3 multiplayer when I'm not in hunter mode. My evidence is anecdotal, I admit. But it's happened three times now. I remain free of these crashes when not in hunter mode.

Just saying.

I honestly don't see the problem with it. Use it all the time.

Huntermode defnitly has some major issues that are caused by its visual effect.

but i have long since got used to it..

the option to turn off effects like that would be nice but bioware wouldnt put the effort into adding that kind of option..

best you could hope for is a Mod on the PC that adds a ingame menu to controll the various effects.

Who do we have to write to to just ask whether they plan to do something about this or not?

I don't know post your responses with BioWare inside, so they can take it personal i dunno. Or some expirenced forum member write a message to some of the bio staff for a response.

The aim reticle is good but the reast of the stuff around the screen edge is painful.

Something needs to be done with this. It makes objective pointers very hard to see.

I am re-posting here because HM is totally distorted for me. I have something like double visualization of the screen, one in the middle and one extactly above of it. It's like seeing double. It also flashes and its brightness is really annoying.

I'm a little bit upset because i can't use geth characters.
No problem with marksman or rage or everything else.

Please fix. Thanks.

What really needs to be addressed is that light bloom effects override the huntervision.

Yup. Enemies with the sun behind them are completely obscured by the lens flare effects. That's all well and good for organic life, but sentient killing machines rely on better gear than cheap cameras with bad bloom/flare/filtering.

:P
